Four For Friday - Traditional
#1 - This former A list mostly movie actress who started as a teen turned do nothing much for a long time and now is a B+ list television/almost television actress still has A list name recognition. On the set of her new show she has turned her trailer into some kind of Wiccan shrine and freaks people out in a daily basis.
#2 - This racist Bravo reality star who is the star of his little show is probably not going to tell his fellow Klan brethren about the black hookers he picks up in a city a couple hundred miles from his house.
#3 - This foreign born B- list mostly movie actress/model who barely stays above that C+ status because she has a memorable name. She is sleeping with the married CEO of the largest company in her home country.
#4 - This permanent A+ list designer is HIV+ after becoming infected by a Brazilian escort.

ReplyDeleteAlmost Televison-Transparent
Gabby Hoffman started out when she was like 4 or 5 - a child star . Also Girls was HBO I think not network?
ReplyDeleteAre they Bravo or that country channel ?
ReplyDelete+1 could be. She was on House MD and did other TV before Orange. And she was big in film for a bit:Point Break!
ReplyDelete#3. I guess Emily Ratajkowski fits, technically, as she was born in England. She's as English as Sienna Miller is American, though. And I follow her on IG and she never seems to be in England.
ReplyDeleten/m neither, they are A&E
ReplyDeletedoesn't say network tv--just says tv and almost tv
ReplyDeleteand I have watched a couple of movie she has stared in lately that are very Wicca themed
Lyle
and Crystal Fairy
Maybe but she did Field of Dreams and Uncle Buck which started her career after commercials(I think) when she was about 5. I know because I still watch them - they are on all the time.
ReplyDeletethat is true
ReplyDelete3) Lily Cole maybe
ReplyDeleteWiccan freaks ppl out huh? Bet if she had a crucifix & Jesus poster this would not even be a blind. Religious freedom? What's that?
ReplyDelete#2 Thomas Ravenel. In his 50's (so would be more affiliated with a klan era in the south) and the "star" because of his Senate run (and impregnating Kathryn Dennis)
ReplyDeleteOMG, that would make me so frickin HAPPY!
ReplyDelete1. Molly Ringwald
ReplyDelete2) Chris Crisley - Crisley Knows Best
ReplyDeleteI know that there has been an increase in hate groups in the US in recent years but it's still weird to think of people actually being in the Klan. Traipsing around dressed in white robes with pointy hats, calling themselves Grand Imperial Wizards and all that mumbo jumbo, while they actually spend their time burning crosses, hating and attacking their neighbors. It's a strange way to live.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget "Tank Girl" and "League of Their Own."
ReplyDeleteI've always wondered about "the Imperial Wizards" title as one would think that wizards/witchcraft isn't Christian.
ReplyDeleteAre there people over the age of 13 in 2016 who are "freaked out" by wicca? That seems a bit of a stretch - it's hardly even occult anymore, it's all rootwork & wishing.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I said before I read your comment. Ted Cruz' frickin victory sermon is OK, but having wicca crap in your personal private space 'freaks people out'.
ReplyDeleteI swear this is 13 year old girl Enty.
Or someone with equal emotional maturity and world view.
@Kibble - no way is forget A League of their own- great flick! Even Madonna was bearable....:)
ReplyDelete#2 is Andy Cohen
ReplyDeleteThere was another blind a long time ago about him. Said he wouldn't date anyone of color, which I don't consider racist, but Enty did.
Andy Cohen is not a reality star...and I seriously doubt there are many gay klansmen.
ReplyDeleteJust for the hell of it, I'm going to say Anna Chlumsky for #1. She started at 11, which doesn't QUITE fit, but might be close enough. She legit quit acting for a long time and now she's on Veep. I have NO reason whatsoever to think she's Wiccan, but the idea amuses me to no end, so there you go.
ReplyDeleteAnd this: "A supporter of flying the Confederate flag on the statehouse grounds, Ravenel referred to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) as the "National Association for Retarded People" at a flag rally in 2000, according to the Charleston Post and Courier."
ReplyDeleteListen #2, you go get your dark meat. You enjoy yourself. There is no shame. F you "brotherens".
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you the number of times I hear guys trying "others". So most likely they doing it on the DL as well. You enjoy yourself.
LOL.
ReplyDeleteActually, that's patently false. Unfortunately, groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center put out a "hate group map" every year, purporting to note their geographic location. The problem is, when researched, the names of vast majority of these groups either don't exist, were a few guys 10 yrs past, a post office box, a website, a mail order flag business, two brothers, 14 & 16. Are there some groups that are genuinely out there & denoted? Of course, but there's money & power in the hate business, so don't look for a honesty accounting of them. It's terrible that people are being given tho impression, and how quickly folks are to label others as "racist."
ReplyDeleteThat was his father, Arthur. If Thomas were a klan member it would've been all over fits news.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she higher as a model than this? And maybe lower as an actress?
ReplyDeleteThere's wiccan, and then there's WICCAN. One is a passive sort of belief, and the other is a constant chanting, dancing, burning incense, intense sort of thing.
ReplyDeleteI worked with 2 old school italian men who never came out and said they were racist but it was pretty obvious. They never hired a person of any other color ever, HATE Obama and constantly post fox news type posts about Obama being muslim and no birth cert, etc etc... Want all muslims exported. Come to find out one had an african american girlfriend he kept an apartment for in the lower income neighborhood, far away from his fancy all white neighborhood. I never understood it.
