Blind Items Revealed #3

February 18, 2016

This A+ list mostly movie actor was a huge pain when he was recently on a talk show as a guest. They wanted him to do a skit but he was a prick up until he actually got to the show and had to be talked into even doing the crap version of the skit that ended up on air. The original plan was for something that would have been amazing. Our actor likes he has some big hits in his recent body of work. He doesn’t.

George Clooney/Jimmy Kimmel

Knew it. That Kimmel "ER/House" sketch was so awkward.

I didn't see the show but Clooney's still a big fucking movie star. If he doesn't want to do some dumb skit on Kimmel, let it go. Get Matt Damon to do it, if they don't run out of time.

The concept required an ER star (THE ER star), so Damon wouldn't have worked. But then again, neither did the sketch.

  5. Most late night "skits" are so bad, I don't think I'd want to be in of them either.
I back George on this one.

And when was the last 'amazing' Kimmel skit, Enty?

Stick Matt in a Clooney mask and they're off to the races. Maybe it would have saved the bit.

The eminent TV doctors Doug Ross (Clooney's ER character) and House (Hugh Laurie) tackling a medical case together, with Kimmel's wang as the patient.

  14. Fallon is even worse with the dumb, childish acts he makes everyone do.

It seems that too many late night shows only value a guest's appearance if there's a decent chance it will go viral. Going on a show and leaving with your dignity intact is almost a mutually exclusive concept. And if you don't participate you are accused of being a bad sport or someone who takes themselves too seriously. Fallon, especially, values clicks and is very much into showing off his "multi-talents." He is not capable of sharing the spotlight. Even thought I thought Carson got a bit formulaic with his jokes, that guy could do an interview, and he always made sure the guests were front and center.

Clooney should have known that when he went on Kimmel. That's Kimmel's shtick, having celebrities he has on his show, in his skits. Sorry, but these new night time talk shows are awful. Bring back Dave and Jay.

@Just4fun: I completely agree with you.

I blame this f'd up political season on the absence of Jon Stewart, Dave and Jay. It's a huge void, Trump would have lost all credibility by now, he would have been shredded. None of the guys on now can lay a glove on any of them. Or do what Tina Fey did with Sarah Palin, a dead on parody so accurate it was amazing.

Clooney's skewering on South Park said it all... the dude is SMUG, but doesn't have anything anyone is jealous of (I mean, he's handsome, but if all he could was Aman Alamanly, who would be jealous of his looks?).

  22. No way!! Can you imagine getting the the skit script and thinking to yourself this looks awful I'd rather take my pants off and do the jig? Team Clooney.

I like Jimmy Kimmels' skits. The Handsome Men's Club is so funny. Please google it if you haven't seen it.

  24. stars like Clooney just assumed Hillary would win the election, they were wrong and now their cowardly refusal to condemn bill clinton behavior has been highlighted by the MeToo movement
