This very recent Academy Award winner/nominee was in Japan promoting the movie which made her a nominee/winner. Apparently there were a lot of fans crammed into a very tiny area to give our actress extra space. When two girls fell down in the front, our actress asked the barricade be removed and just let the fans swarm her. She stayed like that for an hour signing autographs and taking selfies.

I've loved Brie since I saw her on United States of Tara. Glad to hear that she's such a class act.
Even now, she's probably unwittingly sewing the seeds of Trashy Druggy Whoredom with her continued existence.
I've never seen her act in anything, but she seems to not take herself too seriously (especially for an Oscar winner). She always looks like a regular person in pics, not someone who spends hours getting ready before staging photos. I like that. I hope she continues to let her talent speak for her & avoids the famewnore game.

I met Brie when I was covering a film festival, and she was really lovely. She was on a panel with directors and producers and was the most interesting and well-spoken of the bunch. Another young journalist and I asked for a picture after, and her assistant tried to pull her away, but she insisted on taking pictures and seemed genuinely happy to do it.
She was one of the mean girls from 13 Going on 30, I have no idea why I remember that lol
Yes! I fucking looove that show. I had a maaajor girl crush on her.
