Blind Items Revealed #5

March 17, 2016

This former A list mostly movie actor who was a big thing three decades ago comes from an acting family. Now he likes to think he is all serious and stuff. He was promoting a new movie and a reporter was asking about the movie. Our actor wanted to talk politics though. When the reporter kept steering it to the movie the actor was there to discuss, the actor told the reporter to f**k off and walked away.

John Cusack

Entertainers love to think we care about their activism, we don't.

They are so self absorbed and think we actually would act on something because they endorsed or trashed a politician. I can think for myself

Agreed.

Cusack's career has been in freefall for over a decade. He can't afford to alienate the media.

Ok, not professional, but gets a pass by me jusy cause i like him and i liked him in many roles.

And i want to think he was just too passionate about things.

As I've said before - people grow & change. That's different from pretending to be something you're not - it's actually being something you previously hadn't been. Oh, nevermind...

He's a tool and treats women like dirt, always has - full stop.

His political interests are genuine and his understanding of the issues has depth. He's been into politics in a serious way for decades. He's not a "jump on the election PR bandwagon" celeb.

But he's still a tool. A talented, politically astute douchebag. Neve Campbell looked gorgeous the other night, a lot better than Cusak looks these days. Face Karma.

He's always been passionate about politics. He's on the wrong side, so it was a smart interviewer who was doing him a favor.

But he's supposed to be shallow in interviews. It's the law for all celebrities. He's not allowed to give a f*ck about anything but himself and his acting career.

Thank you Sandy! Telling me who a celebrity endorses or their political position is the equivalent of the guy behind me telling me what to order from Starbucks. Like: do I know you? How can I assign worth or value to your opinion? You are paid to Act- are you also acting like you give a Sh$& about this?!

It isn't even activism. It's people whose heads have gotten so big that they forget that no nothing about politics acting like their political scholars. It's ridiculous.

He has always been a favorite of mine Actors are people, too. They just want to be validated as such. Back in the 50s, to make these statements would be career suicide.

A friend of mine lived in the same town as Cusack back in the late 80's & 90s and evidently they both frequented the same bar....my friend (who can make friends with just about anyone, anywhere at anytime), said that Cusack was a jerk, rude to everyone (especially rude to the waitresses and bartender) and threw around a lot of, "don't you know who I am" type of bullshit.

Cusack hit Eric Roth on America Sweetheart'filming ,forgot to come working (2 weeks) during 2012 filming .

his former French assistant talked about her job and said that once he called during her holiday to ask how the microwave worked during the night

I have a friend who was in one of his films. Between scenes, she was in the breakroom watching some announcement on TV. He walked in and said, "You're not watching this are you?" She let him put on some soap opera that he didn't bother to watch. She left and found another TV. He followed her and changed that channel too. She is not a fan, lol.

Usually it's the other way around. They want to talk about the movie and the interviewer asks about their private life and views or anything that might be a scandal.

I know a lady who works in wardrobe and she said he and Claire Danes were the only 2 people she'd never want to work with again.
