Not even a blind HBO and Sesame Street
Fuck HBO.
I'm so angry this was sold.
Hope the fired people file a law suit.. Blatant age discrimination
Seriously. I can do these type of blinds.
From crazylurkyandnights.com on July 26, "Some lady will be nominated by a major party to run for President."
This is supposed to be a gossip site and not a current events quiz
I think people should boycott it & shove it right back up HBO young stupid producers' asses.
The company that produces the show..and makes the $ from the merchandise. .put out a statement that the changes were by them, not hbo. .
Fuck them too, then.
So, young people have taken over Sesame Street?
Pro: good young energy - new creativity.
Con: every segment will be about 10 seconds long. The younger generation gets bored after 10 seconds. They all have attention span of a gnat.
I also foresee all the dialogue having the word "like" at the beginning of every sentence.
God helps us in the future.
***help
that's blatantly illegal. lawsuit forthcoming as it should be.
My daughter Bunnye worked for Sesame Street back in the early 70s and even went out with Big Bird for a while after he divorced. She said they were eating Crepes at a restaurant and in the middle of the conversation her date, Carroll Spinney (Big Bird) drifted into his Big Bird voice and shocked all the diners sitting near them. Forks dropped, heads turned, she smiled, he acted like nothing was happening. Fun times!
im a fb, english is 3-rd, entry(enty) level, but this 'parasite word' "like" at the beginning of every primitive sentence drives me crazy, f-king 'so-o-oo' is better...
I don't care if the merchandiser or HBO is at fault here but one of the things that makes Sesame Street so wonderful is the spectrum of "residents" and characters on the Street. The episode about the death of Mr. Hooper was handled with such sensitivity. You could see Big Bird's confusion about death and feel Bird's heartbreak when he realized he would never see sweet Mr. Hooper again. Life on Sesame Street has always been about life with some learning thrown in for good measure. I started watching Sesame Street when it first came on the air, my kids watched it, and my grandson watched it. It is something shared by different generations. The show should continue to reflect that on the air.
I really like the fact that I can tell my kids that grandpa and mommy watched sesame street when they where younger. If it's not broke don't fix it. All about the money. Probably Trying to appeal more to this generation, they feel would generate more sales. So sad. R.I.P Sesame Street.
HBO bought Sesame Street? Good Lord! Now it will be confirmed that Bert & Ernie are gay and raising three adopted kids in a gender neutral environment, Cookie Monster comes out as transgender and runs for city council, Oscar the Grouch gets assassinated, and Big Bird has a nude scene in every episode.
Probably what they were told to say.
LOL, I'd pay to see that.
This is beyond f▽ⓒke▶ up. The show will be ruined. RIP Sesame Street...thanks for all the awesome episodes in years past.
