That's probably a good place to carry Nicorette.
clueless putz
I have this crazy Aunt who lives in England. She would not fly to Toronto for my cousins wedding because she can not go 8 hours without a cigarette! So her husband (my Uncle) had to go by himself...
putzette?
putzelle??
They make drugs for that. ;-)
Maybe she was vaping or using those electronic cigarettes.
There are a lot of smokers among centenarian women. Just saying.
I don't buy this, she just finished battling breast cancer herself, she and her hubby are so recognizable and beloved that they wouldn't do something so stupid in public.
Anyway something is fishy because they'v just sold two adjacent huge properties in Pacific palisades. mmmm...
I bet her husband is more likely to do shots at an AA meeting.
Nicotine is one of the hardest things to kick and the habit and process of smoking is so comforting to hard core smokers it also contributes to how hard it is to quit. Cancer surgery is not always enough to make someone go cold turkey.
Yup. Agreed. Divorce ?? Chet Hanks and his antics dont help either.
Ok, this blind/reveal is kind of funny. Reminds me of the people I see smoking in front of Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and where I go for yoga. LOL.
You are right---nicotine is a bitch! I was lucky, I quit with the help of a bad chest infection, and decided not to pick the habit up again--but that doesn't mean it was easy. I still get cravings that come out of no where for a cigarette--and it has been several years. I lost a friend not long ago to cancer, and despite the hell she went through with radiation and chemo she could not quit.
Thus is disgusting though. It was a lung cancer benefit. What fuck face loser can't make it even a couple hours for a LUNG CANCER BENEFIT. Disinvite them both in perpetuity. I don't care who they are. It's so disrespectful.
I believe it. I saw her a while ago on "Watch What Happens Live" and could tell by her teeth she was a heavy smoker.
I agree she should have never shown up if she couldn't even get through the benefit without a cigarette. She should have never even went. It's better to cancel at the last minute and send a huge check than smoke there.
It's true. Very hard one to quit.
Preach. Christina Applegate comes to mind. My best gf died of lymphoma and I still couldn't quit.
Did they look like she rolled them herself and just used her fingertips?
Why exclude them? They probably make a large donation to cancer research.
When my mother died of smoking related issues everyone asked if I would quit. If anything I was so aggravated it made me smoke more! Eventually I quite using Chantix.
As an ex-smoker it gets tiresome hearing people judge smokers. We all have our demons.
Maybe she was smoking because the alternative was to b*tch slap someone into next week.
Reminds me of the folks that have to be some many feet away from hospital entrance and carry their intravenous equipment with them just to get that fix. Damn hard to give up and I wouldn't dare try another cigarette again. 12 years this time. Miss them though.
I smoked years ago but don't think I was ever addicted, I just stopped. This is cruel and selfish, I agree with the post above, send a check and decline the invite. Can you imagine the attendees who lost a family member to smoking related cancer?
