Blind Items Revealed #7
July 5, 2016
Just as I predicted, this flash in the pan A list mostly movie actress who has lived off that one film for three decades not only got herself on the title of her permanent A+ list celebrity boyfriend’s house but also got him to overpay for her house and give her all the money.
Daryl Hannah/Neil Young
Neil probably has no f*cks to give anymore at this stage of life, and thinks Daryl is great in bed. He's 70 or so now his judgement could be impaired.
ReplyDeleteI think he just doesn't give a fuck anymore. Her companionship costs him money he's willing to pay. It's not as if he has 50 years left. What's he saving it for?
ReplyDeleteSometimes zero fucks is mistaken for stupidity/naïveté.
SMFH. Neil, Neil, Neil, what on earth have you got yourself into?
ReplyDeleteDoesn't she come from a rich family also? Greedy.I know he's had friends who are really worried for his wellbeing with her in the picture.
ReplyDeleteAs pointed out in the previous item: "Pope Of Greenwich Village," "Splash," "Wall Street," "Legal Eagles," "Steel Magnoilas," "Roxanne," "Clan Of The Cave Bear," "Kill Bill,"..her heyday might be long over but she certainly was no flash in the pan and didn't just live off of one movie. She also has a few projects coming out soon.
ReplyDeleteShe was no flash in the pan I agree. That house is gorgeous, one of the nicest I've seen for celeb homes.
ReplyDeleteThey both seem to be going forward with no looking back, not a problem for me.
She was kick-ass in Kill Bill. That's all I got.
ReplyDelete+1. She also dated JFK Jr. Not a bad gig!
ReplyDeleteI wasnt even born yet when splash came out
ReplyDeletebut I can definitely say from my observation she was more than a flash in the pan, right?
Not to mention that she deserved an Oscar for Dancing at the Blue Iguana
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others who disagree with the "flash in the pan" description. Daryl Hannah was in practically EVERYTHING in the 80's. She was a huge movie actress.
ReplyDeletePlease be accurate with descriptions. First you call Courtney STODDEN "B list", and now this? Ridiculous.
Yea, I think Enty is just a tad bit jealous. They seem to like each other and that's all that counts so........
ReplyDeleteSo what? Is she supposed to just live with him for nothing, waiting for him to dump her for a younger version? I'm sure Neil can afford it.
ReplyDeleteThis rating system has me confused. In no way is Daryl Hannah A list.
ReplyDeleteI always loved the line in the Lynard Synard song that goes (something like) "Southern man don't need him around."
ReplyDeleteWell, in fairness, I have zero recollection of her in Wall Street or Legal Eagles. I'd say she's memorable in Bladerunner and Splash, and that's about it.
ReplyDeleteMy personal favorite favorite is "Summer Lovers".
ReplyDeleteFilmed on the islands of Greece. Beautiful background scenery.
I agree. That, & no way was she "flash in the pan".
ReplyDelete@David: That line and entire song "Freebird" was in response to Neil Young's "Southern Man."
ReplyDeleteFeh. These two scolds deserve each other. She had one good movie and was window dressing in everything else she was in. He had one good song (Old Man) which, frankly, he should go back and listen to his own lyrics.
ReplyDeleteThe song was the anthemic rock classic "Sweet home Alabama", actually, and yes in response to NY's poignant" Southern Man". Both iconic songs for different reasons.....
ReplyDeleteWhile I totally agree "Old Man " is one of his better songs(Cowgirl in the Sand
ReplyDeletebeing my favorite) Neil Young (and crazyhorse) possesses a library of both insightful and genius rock songs that make him - One of the greats. One of my my favorite lyrics from him however is from the aforementioned Old Man "Lullabies look in your eyes, run around the same old town-
Doesn't mean that much to me, to mean that much to you"... .........
He has a library of insightful, kick ass songs
No it was Sweet Home Alabama that they wrote to respond to Neil Young as @Tricia13 said below. Freebird was their biggest hit though, so maybe why you were confused.
ReplyDeleteOne good song? R u fucking kidding me? Lolz
ReplyDeleteI met Neil briefly , I was so stricken by his magnificently beautiful eyes that I felt as though I had landed on mars for hours after. I love him so much...omigod..Neil .
ReplyDeleteThe Biography Shakey paints him as a bit of a prick, but Fuck that book...I don't care..if he wants Daryl...let him , he almost died from his brain aneurysm, he's got sick fd up kids, and that waitress he married should be grateful to God she had a life with him.
You know DH is autistic..I think she is highly intelligent and they share a love of ecology and wildlife. Neil is very very shrewd with money and no woman has ever faired well in their splits with him, he can be very changeable.. Hannah probably wants to seal it in a way that gives her some equality and a sense of security by making him sacrifice what he holds most dear.
He surrounds himself with sycophants and has many old crusty friends who love to wag their tounges and talk the shit.
I'm not buying the evil other woman b.s...
Are you insane??? Neil Young is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. You can't appreciate him, though, if you're not at least a little bit deep. Not for the shallow pop-hits lovers.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not a flash in the pan. There was always something a little odd or exotic about her. Several years ago, she disclosed that she suffers from a mild form of autism and that explained that mysterious quirk she had that made her appealing as an actress.
ReplyDeleteHannah was barely ever really A-list to begin with. She was never really critically acclaimed for her work. Many considered her a pretty face with regards to her acting.
ReplyDeleteShe definitely made some bad choices late in her career. But also, she seemed content to play small roles in movies like Steel Magnolias and Kill Bill. Which works for her, but doesn’t keep you in the public eye.
@Darlene. Thank you for that correction! You are absolutely right!
ReplyDeleteShe was in the mid 80's.
ReplyDeleteThat's the only one that spoke to me. The rest just sound like generic pablum to me. I don't like most of the Springsteen or Bob Dylan catalogs either. One good song each. Folkish rock is not my genre and I loathe the pretend man of the people stuff. Hate it. I prefer an honest rock star rolling around in his cash, living the good life and not dispensing bullshit wisdom.
