The now on vacation A+ list theatre actor wanted a day off last year. That day off cost political fundraisers nearly a million bucks and they were not happy.
Living in NYC as I do, I vividly remember seeing him walking out on stage (somewhere) lovingly greeting Ms. Hillary at some fundraiser. There was another fundraiser that was scheduled to see Hamilton. However, he retired from the show permanently before that happened. Is THIS what you're talking about? Bad timing for her campaign people because it was posted well in advance what date he would be leaving the cast.
