Blind Item #10- CMA Awards
Back in the day this country group was A list. Never got A+ list. Almost though. Anyway, apparently the lead singer of the band has not stopped loving barely legal strippers. Even though he lives in Nashville he stayed at a hotel two nights ago and told the concierge that he was expecting some "trashy looking women." He then went on to say if they were not trashy he didn't want to see them.
Alabama or the Oak Ridge boys
ReplyDeletecharlie daniels?
ReplyDeleteSawyer brown (or something like that).
ReplyDeleteI can see a guy from Alabama doing this, but I think they did make A+. Sawyer Brown is a good one too.
ReplyDeleteLike the quote.
ReplyDeleteLonestar Richie McDonald
ReplyDeleteYes, I'd say Alabama is A+. Charlie Daniels is a good guess.
ReplyDeleteI guess Brooks and Dunn wouldn't be considered a group but if they can be Kix Brooks.
ReplyDeleteDanny Shirley/Confederate Railroad. They even have a song called "Trashy Women". Is that the hint?
ReplyDeleteKix is not the lead singer (thank God). Plus, definitely A+.
ReplyDeleteAlabama -they performed at the awards.
ReplyDeleteHa ha wasn't there a song called ' l like women just a little on the trashy side' ... Confederate railroad? They were never a list but this blind reminded me of that travesty of a song.
ReplyDeleteThe Oak Ridge Boys were always so hell-bent on having a squeaky-clean image, I couldn't imagine one of them doing this.
ReplyDeleteStatler Brothers, just to be different
ReplyDelete"The Oak Ridge Boys were always so hell-bent on having a squeaky-clean image, I couldn’t imagine one of them doing this."
ReplyDeleteThat's EXACTLY why I would suspect one. But not the tall one with the deep voice. ;)
I was thinking of the Gatlin Brothers; they went from adulterous cokeheads to overt Christians in short order. How long can you keep that up? Other groups: Lonestar, Montgomery Gentry, Restless Heart, Diamond Rio.
And I'll mention the Bellamy Brothers just because they had the song If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me.
I'm thinking Alabama, Statler Brothers, Brooks & Dunn were A+.
