Hope they were good gifts.
That is not being poor. That's being cheap or crafty. They k ow people who will do this, they still got more than most of us.
Unfortunately I live in NJ and I am exposed to these type of folks ALL THE TIME.
This couple is BROKE AS JOKE.
REAL rich people here in NJ are NOT the people you see on TV.
The REAL money here in NJ is down low, humble and would NEVER, EVER do reality TV.
And I mean we have REAL money here, I grew up riding horses on what is now Trump International Golf Course, I grew up with the Johnson&Johnson heirs, I mingled with African Princesses, the private HS my bf went to back in the day was 60k a year, my other boyfriend was from boarding school, everyone's 1st car was a BMW or something else equally as expensive. Everyone went to top tier colleges even though they would have never got in without the family money. I know someone who went to Oxford because their father donated enough money to build a new library lol. Can't make this shit up.
So to add insult to injury with these reality tv fools, none of them live in money towns, they can fool folks outside of NJ but here in NJ people like this are a laughing stock.
They have no money, at all. They have no class, no clout and they are NOT rich and do NOT represent NJ money in anyway. Cuz they have none.
They are all broke in that franchise. Doh
They're in Jersey for a reason.
Melissa - usually truly wealthy people do not see the need to expose their wealth on tv, since that could potentially attract criminals. Realoty tv shows about 'rich' people are 90% broke posers, and 10% wealthy fame whores.
That new couple on RHOBH, PK and Dorit: he is such a smarmy stereotypical con man for example.
