Wind---not a fan. Sometimes at the beginning of a great rain storm it can be sexy but for long periods of time , not at all . Bad for hair, not great on eyes(makes them watery ), definitely not good for wearing skirts:(
Ice storms are the worse, they cause a lot mor accidents than snow, and you can't always tell how bad it is. A lot of people think they can drive in it.
The only weather that really bothers me is when it's about 34 degrees out and it's raining and windy. That really sucks. If it's going to be like that it should just drop ten degrees and snow. Other than that, it has to be pretty extreme to bother me.
Another vote for ice storms. Losing power for several days in the middle of winter is no fun, especially when you rely on electrical power to get your water (from a well).
Well now the killer smog is coming to a major city near you since our new administration is largely climate change deniers and deregulators. May want to move out of the cities oh wait the ag run off disrupts water safety! Oops we are doomed
Santa Ana winds and wildfires. I always get sick during this time. Getting pretty sick of the rain in California and crazy drivers. Love the spring and early summer.
This is going to sound weird because it's a combination of weather and a particular day (like, if it happens on a weekday, I'm actually fine with it mostly).
But I seriously cannot stand too much sun, especially Sunday noon sun when it's quiet, dessertly, and dry... Add some quiet wind and it's downright depressing! It always makes my heart sink the wrong way, just negatively mellow. Depends on the type of wind, tho—if they ruffle the leaves on trees the right way, it can sound like a nice spring afternoon from the best year of my life (on the day I walked to take a bus to the beach). But when it's all wrong, the wind just blows dry heat and it feels like a dehydration migraine... It reminds me going to tropical resorts and everyone's having fun, but I just have a migraine. Eh.
If it rains on a Sunday, sometimes I'll be so happy I take a photo and post it on Instagram.
I let the weather do its' thing, appreciating them all. Too much sun is not something I enjoy very much, same with too much heat. But other than that, I like it all, because I adapt to it all. When it's bitter cold and stormy, there's nothing cosier than sitting at home with good food, alcohol and entertainment. I live in London, which is glorious always, but especially when sunny.
Air pollution. Fucking killing people in China.
ReplyDeleteFuck snow and cold weather.
ReplyDeleteUp with spring and fall!
Ice falling out of the sky, snapping off trees & power lines, causing huge accidents.
ReplyDeleteSnow. And it can snow here, it did briefly one January day a few years ago.

ReplyDeleteHigh wind. Kind of like listening to Madonna show how ignorant she is
ReplyDeleteSleet and freezing rain!! And that's exactly what it is doing as I type!! At least with snow you can get some traction but this shit forget about it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, Ryan. I moved to the south almost 25 years ago, and I've never gotten used to the heat and humidity. It's miserable.
