Blind Item #19 - Grammy Awards
This could have turned out very badly. This Grammy winner from last night was talking to a voter and asked who he voted for in Album Of The Year. Apparently he did not know to whom he was speaking and said A Sailor's Guide To Earth. That took the questioner so off guard that she started laughing. She had been ready to go off on the guy and in what can only be described as a tribute to Michael K, walked away and said that is some crazy Benjamin Buttons s**t.
What ever
ReplyDeleteSolange Knowles
ReplyDeleteRiRi?
ReplyDeleteMaybe SHE was speaking to Sturgill Simpson??
ReplyDelete...but it won Best Country Album. I don't get why this is funny/bad/not appropriate/spot on or whatever.
ReplyDeleteScratch that she didn't win. Beyonce maybe?
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming she thought he'd say Beys album
ReplyDeleteOk, Adele won, and the album referred to here by the voter was by Sturgill Simpson, so it would need to be either Bey, Drake or Justin.
ReplyDeleteI like Solange for this because she was throwing shade at Adele's win. But did she win a Grammy too
ReplyDeleteI think you got it. Enty may be alluding to Solange's temper after the beating JayZ in elevator video. She won her first award yesterday and could have gone beating crazy on the Grammy voter who did not vote for her sister but based on the BI she did not.
ReplyDelete@Thomda yes she won for best performance "Cranes in the Sky"
ReplyDelete@MM I thought it might be a reference to her temper or shade she threw about Beyonce not winning

ReplyDeleteDefinitely Solange. Ugh
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what this comment has to do with Michael K or aging in reverse.
ReplyDeleteI think it has to do with the benjamin button sh*t comment. Michael K says that on his website sometimes. He also calls Solange 'Basement Baby'
ReplyDeleteHow dare you mention the great Sturgill Simpson in the same blind as these fame addicted, talentless, narcissitic hacks? Simpson is a real musician - everyone else mentioned in this blind is a "star" because the PR folks at their record companies said it so often the public eventually believed it. The show business version of fake news.
ReplyDeleteThat sturgill simpson record is f***ing great! his cover of that nirvana song is brilliant. Sturgill>>>>>>>adele.
