Blind Item #5 - Kindness

This former B+ list mostly movie actress who can't make a good movie to save her life still has A+ list name recognition thanks to that marriage and the aftermath of the divorce. She managed to get a group of ten kids celebrating a birthday at a NYFW show from the back row to the first two rows. It would have been all front row but some editor of a magazine refused and threw a hissy fit that our actress would even ask.

That's a nice gesture, but I can also understand not wanting the FR stuffed with anonymous kids. It's a business thing and the business isn't Chuck E Cheese.

  7. Agree, except I wouldn't even go so far to say it was a nice gesture … more like sabotaging the designers show so some ten year olds can have a great instagram post and she can look like a down to earth Mom hero?

Jennifer Aniston?!? Hahahaha. I doubt it was a party of 10 year-olds. More like 18 year-olds, I'd wager.

What AC said. If kids really wanted to be there at all, the back row should suffice. It's not like there are so many darn rows! The point is for designers to present their work to people in industry who can influence its success. Why is it nice of someone to play hero with favors that don't belong to her at the expense of someone paying a fortune to present their work? And, who gives out the first row for influential people AND ones to be photographed being there for publicity? What a meddling twat.
