Blind Item #6
This B+ list mostly television actress who has a superhero character that moves between shows is a celebrity offspring. She won't give any money to her celebrity parent because of all the money he stole from her when she was younger.

ReplyDeleteGood for her! He may be biologically her parent but from what I read, he never did any parenting. Deadbeat dads don't deserve shit from their grown children.
ReplyDeleteGood for her.
ReplyDeletemy children owe me nothing, she owes hers nothing.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll make a protest sign: MY CHILDREN OWE ME NOTHING!
Heard this song-and-dance before. 35 years ago I had a young kid who was 'discovered' in a children's dance school by a famous Broadway dancer. She took off pretty fast and got a hefty (for the time) check for a commercial. We were living in an SRO in Hell's Kitchen at the time. My secretary's salary was abysmal. I was shelling out for clothes, shoes, dance classes, singing classes, taxis to and from auditions. When she got her first check I put it in my bank account (she was 9 for god's sake!) to keep us from starving. When she got a few years older she told everyone at her agent's office I had stolen her paychecks. Took her out the business. These kids are so incredibly nasty. When she grew up she got a masters at an Ivy League university and has been gainfully employed ever since. An ungrateful little....
ReplyDeleteIf your kid got an Ivy League education and still isn't talking to you or treating you with love, I have to assume a LOT more went wrong than a few performance checks routed toward keeping the family fed and housed.
