Want to be killed off this NBC soap? Ask for a raise and tell the producers you are too good for daytime television. This actor will be back and begging for his job back.
Hogestyn left for a short time because of an injury. Although maybe he spent some of the time off trying to get more money? I'm thinking it's someone who left the show already, isn't doing well and now aching for a job. Maybe one of the Will Hortons, either Chandler Massey or Guy Wilson.
It's way dumb for a soap actor to talk smack in this day and age. Used to, you could just move to another soap, but there are practically none left. One of my favorite jokes is that I had to get a job once they took Guiding Light off the air. Housewifing was devoid of meaning once my stories were gone.
Thx Ed--- I know he's been on forever and a day-they tend to stay some My because a pretty steady work and cushy (goodnhours etc)-- he and Scotty Baldwin(GH which my mom still watches religiously)have seriously been on these shows since pre internet lol!
Maybe Vincent Irrizarry. Days just got a new head writer, so now is not the time to complain about money or storyline. I love VI and hope he goes to GH if he's out.
It's not Hogestyn. He was very seriously injured in a fall on set last spring that was the fault of the show not him. I can see James Scott (EJ) doing it when he left last year. He was not saying great things and he seems to have cut ties with many and didn't go straight to any new job. He's also got an ego the size of America. Right up there with Ali. Could also be Brandon Beemer.
He bitched about AMC after getting canned from that one, although his gripes were not without some merit. Still, you keep your mouth shut in the soap world. No controversy!
Drake Hogestyn-Days of our lives?
ReplyDeleteDon't watch

ReplyDeleteI wish it was EJ so he would come back. I don't think it's him just a wish.

ReplyDeleteHave they not seen that episode of Friends?? Joey gets fired from Days of our Lives for trash talking the show's writers.
ReplyDeleteLast soap I watched was in junior high along the CBS lines.
ReplyDeleteGeneral Hospital is still on the air? Scotty Baldwin is still on it? Dios Mio.
ReplyDeleteThat's ABC. The ONLY soap on NBC is Days now.
ReplyDeleteOh, and yeah, Scotty's still on but you hardly ever see him. :)
