Today's Blind Items - Street Hookers And Booze
Back in the day, this actor was probably A- list. Not because of any particular acting talent, but simply because every person probably knew who he was. He was never going to headline a movie, but he was still one of the most popular actors working. When the big box office projects dried up he could still make a lot of money in straight to DVD or On Demand movies. When those began to dry up he still could make a decent living making appearances. He still does that, but the amounts he is paid is lower each year. Right now, he spends most of what he earns on women he finds on the street at night. He rolls up to them and they see his face and think they are headed for a big payday. He doesn't have big payday kind of money. He has just enough to pay them what they charge everyone else and takes the rest of his money to the liquor store. He goes home and drinks himself to sleep every night. His place is awful. It stinks of urine and a guy who barely takes care of himself. He used to have someone come in and help him and also clean, but he has trouble finding the money to pay them. He was near death one morning recently when a friend found him and convinced him to go to rehab. He has been there before, but hopefully this time it will stick.
Richard Greico
ReplyDeleteRichard Grieco?
ReplyDeleteGotta be Huntz Hall. Poor guy.
ReplyDeleteC. Thomas Howell?
ReplyDeleteNick Nolte?
ReplyDeleteNah he seems to be working...
ReplyDeleteRalph Macchio but he also seems to work, as does Grieco. But Macchio had big box office movies and Grieco didn't.
ReplyDeleteFeels like Judd Nelson to me....
ReplyDeleteSteven Dorff
ReplyDeleteChris Klein?
ReplyDeleteYou never know though -everyone here so far has recent credits ,including Dorff who I guessed, and projects.CTH(god I loved him) seems a little innocent though for the blind--who knows-maybe he was just a really good actor:)
ReplyDeleteCould be--pix from last year had him looking like a homeless guy
ReplyDeleteIkr--sometime Entern says somebody never or hardly works and right there on IMDB is 20 or 30 credits in the past decade or so.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, he's the first person who came to mind.
ReplyDeleteI thought Cory Feldman whoever this man is I feel sympathy for him and I hope he gets the help.
ReplyDeleteVan Damme?
ReplyDeleteWhoever it is sure messed up his life. If he'd had half a brain he would be on easy street in his later years. Even now if he went public with his struggles he could probably pull himself out of it.
ReplyDeleteHe's always looked himeless to me.
ReplyDelete*homeless*
ReplyDeletecould be - I saw him at a con awhile back and he looked pretty rough and confused.
ReplyDeletehe's not homeless & has some money for street hookers & booze...
ReplyDeleteP.S. "Fuck, Drink, Sleep"...
He must look like death now.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to think of an actor who would make appearances at ComicCons or some kind of convention.
ReplyDeleteWilliam Shatner? hahahaha.
Steven seagal
ReplyDeleteMy deepest sympathies, whoever it is.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea?
ReplyDeleteDolph Lundgren? (he's at a lot of conventions, did a lot of straight to DVD releases, but still gets movie roles and doesn't have a 'rehab' or drug history to my knowledge)
Eric Roberts? (he's also on the convention circuit, is a king of straight to DVD, and has had drug issues in the past, including a 'Celebrity Rehab' stint; not sure he was ever A-, but maybe)
Brendan Fraser? (don't know if he likes the convention circuit, but he's also gone the DVD route of late, and had some drug demons he had to deal with. Certainly was A- level and had the Mummy franchise, but was never seen as a true lead)
Dolf Londegren?
ReplyDelete( too sad if true that man is/was gourgeouse)
I will say Tom Sizemore, he was known and was in some Big Budget Movies and he was know for being with Heidi Fleiss and he's been in Rehab Before.
ReplyDeleteBruce Willis. His gambling has cost him dearly with certain international syndicates. Die Hard 5 was filmed in Russia (coincidence ), he has made multiple crap movies that are straight to dvd/vod and he will always have to pay for the incident back in 2004 that resulted in one dead tranny.
ReplyDeleteNot Dolph. He does steroids, and coke, yes, but he is still working in tons of terrible action movies overseas, and he makes OK money doing so. Plus he has a new young Swedish wife/girlfriend. He is fine.
ReplyDeleteI say Sizemore.
Hasselhoff
ReplyDeleteMickey Rourke?
ReplyDeleteNo way is this Bruce Willis he would definitely not classify as "probably A- lost this actor was probably A- list. Not because of any particular acting talent, but simply because every person probably knew who he was. He was never going to headline a movie, but he was still one of the most popular actors working." He headlined many movies and had franchises and is worth well over $100 million dollars. He doesn't have any money problems. He doesn't do much these days but could always crank out another Die Hard if he wanted. He's also been in some critically acclaimed movies like The Sixth Sense, so this is not him. I think he's a douche for other reasons but this is not him.
ReplyDeleteCould be Michael Madsen as well
ReplyDeleteRyan Phillipe ??
ReplyDeleteAndrew Dice Clay
ReplyDeleteEd Begley Jr.?
ReplyDeleteEd Begley Jr.
ReplyDeleteIts been over two decades, but Segal has headlined some Hollywood movies. He also has zero trouble getting work. He's been doing DTV movies for years, and this years he's releasing SIX of them. He's a douche, but doesn't fit this blind.
ReplyDeleteThe Shat is 86 years old. So far as I know he's never done DTV stuff, and the guy definitely isn't hurting for cash. Doesn't fit this one.
ReplyDeleteNick Nolte
ReplyDeleteShatner is close to being a billionaire, thanks to all those shares of Priceline stock he was paid with.
ReplyDeletenot terribly familiar with sizemore's body of work or career trajectory, but i know longtime friends of his. based on what they've said, even if this isn't about him...it fits him perfectly. (though only if the dead trans sex worker was black.)
ReplyDeleteVerne Troyer
