Blind Item #3 - Met Gala
Anna usually reserves her anger and never invite again vow for some young model or first time invitee who does something Anna considers sacrilege. Last night, apparently this A+ list mostly movie actress earned her wrath for not trying hard enough with the theme. Pot calling kettle black.

ReplyDeleteNah, Goopster is there coz she and Anna are working together on something. Also Goopster attended after swearing never to attend. So maybe it makes Anna look good.

ReplyDeleteNobody went with the theme. Goop was the worst of the bunch,but she's back in Anna's good graces and Enty doesn't call her A+.

ReplyDeleteOnly a handful of brave ladies went for the theme, which was more about wearable art and shapes than looking sexy but some of the fame whores just couldn't help being naked and showing off their asses.

ReplyDeleteDesigner Rei Kawakubo behind the fashion line Comme Des Garcons was the theme. Rihanna and Katy Perry were the two who notably went for it. What confuses me is that following this theme was not hard. The celebs could have worn something by that designer and followed the theme. Instead, everyone looked like they were going to prom.

ReplyDeleteJust basically all they had to do was dress like the characters in the "Dreaming Way Tarot" deck by Rome Choi and Kwon Shina and you're good to go, really... I agree, it wasn't that hard of a theme.
ReplyDeleteLast year Lupita wore a dress that looked like the binary code for the "Manus x Machina" theme, but I don't think anyone got the reference. LOL.
Katy Perry looked tragic in every way

ReplyDeleteI also think Chastain...honestly she looked beautiful, but it looked like a typical dress you'd wear to the Golden Globes or Oscars. Nothing about it was Comme Des Garcons. Even some people like Gigi Hadid, Emmy Rossum, Jennifer Lopez, and Tracee Ellis Ross (who actually did wear that designer) wore things less outlandish but still followed the appropriate silhouette of that designer and followed the theme. Chastain really did not.
