Masterpiece. It was a game about the value of paintings that my cousins and I used to play at my grandparents house. I made sure to take it from their house when they died.
When it's a dark stormy night and me and my Wolfie are alone in my little pied-a-terre high above Atlanta, I like to slip into something frilly and revealing, get out the Trouble board and a bottle of good Tennessee whiskey, and make a night of it. Every time I press that darling Pop-O-Matic, I get wet with excitement waiting to see what number comes up ;)
Backgammon! So difficult to find anyone to play it in person. Anyone play in the amateur tournaments? I lose my nerve, those guys know the dice probabilities so much better than me.
scrabble

ReplyDeleteClue! Loved Masterpiece but prefered to look at the paintings vs. Play the game.

ReplyDeleteDid you ever play Adult Clue? Mistress Scarlett does it in the dungeon with a strap on. ;)
ReplyDeleteParcheesi. Growing up it was an addiction day in and day out. I wouldn't know how to play it now. Today I love Yatzee with the fam.
ReplyDeleteTrivial pursuit, all my useless knowledge about crap is worthy at least those times.
