Taboo is awesome.
When I was a kid, I got the Mad Magazine board game for my birthday (I still have it) and that was pretty fun also.
Also as a kid, I LOVED Mousetrap.
Monopoly
BackGammon - on the computer.
Ticket To Ride - with family!
Strip Trouble. I'm a sucker for the Pop-O-Matic.
more or less, all of them
Risk.
Oh Candy, you're so bad!
Another vote for backgammon.
Scrabble
Masterpiece. It was a game about the value of paintings that my cousins and I used to play at my grandparents house. I made sure to take it from their house when they died.
Clue! Loved Masterpiece but prefered to look at the paintings vs. Play the game.
When it's a dark stormy night and me and my Wolfie are alone in my little pied-a-terre high above Atlanta, I like to slip into something frilly and revealing, get out the Trouble board and a bottle of good Tennessee whiskey, and make a night of it. Every time I press that darling Pop-O-Matic, I get wet with excitement waiting to see what number comes up ;)
Did you ever play Adult Clue? Mistress Scarlett does it in the dungeon with a strap on. ;)
Parcheesi. Growing up it was an addiction day in and day out. I wouldn't know how to play it now. Today I love Yatzee with the fam.
Trivial pursuit, all my useless knowledge about crap is worthy at least those times.
Scrabble. I've not played a lot of different games but I like scrabble.
Backgammon!
So difficult to find anyone to play it in person.
Anyone play in the amateur tournaments?
I lose my nerve, those guys know the dice probabilities so much better than me.

I don't think I'll ever be able to play Trouble again with my kids after reading this
Die hard Monopoly player.
Aggravation and Trouble. Sort of the same game.
Scrabble, though I haven't played the actual board game (not phone) version in ages.
Clue, hands down:)
