as many times as he's attempted, I suspect he's going to be successful. Has anyone had him committed to a psychiatric facility, long-term? Men usually are successful at suicide especially with repeated attempts, and one of these days, he will succeed unless active longterm residential care sought. Even though, his risk is very high.
That's the thing. It does get better. For a while. But you know it will always come back, because chronic depression is just that - chronic. That's what makes it so unbearable, and at some point you get so tired. It's a condition you deal with until the day you leave this earth.
Won't guess and hope it's not true. :(
ReplyDeleteJonathan Rhys Meyer and I hope he's okay :( It ALWAYS gets better, folks.

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't always get better. I hate bs platitudes like that. It could just as easily get worse as better.

ReplyDeleteUh oh. What happened now?
ReplyDeleteWhen a parent commits suicide, their child is more likely to commit suicide, too. And it goes beyond genetics. I'm so sad to hear this.
