3-5. I make little bags of candy (mixed types inside), so that the kids aren't looking at the bowl like "which candy do I like / want?" Everybody gets a little baggie; there should be something inside s/he likes.
Zero because they only go to houses\apartments with lit patios and\or decorations outside by decree of the city because my town has pedos ( a huge list too) living here in the unincorporated areas which are plentiful as well.
The more the better! Jealous that You guys have Halloween in USA. It should be everywhere. And there shouldn't be age limit. I wish I could pull pranks on people one night a year, without being arrested too hehe
Come over to mine, Alexandria Anna. I'm hosting a mixed age partay. As a particularly scary measure I'll be leaving off my makeup and wig. You can leap out of cupboards doing blood curdling screams.
That is not customary here, and for the first time in my life, I am going to be in the anglosphere on a halloween this year. I will give zero if I am asked.
4 big ass candy bars. This year it’s Twix, snickers, peanut butter cups and 3 musketeers. I do up 150 bags and when they’re gone that’s it. Furthermore teenagers over 14 are too old to be trick or treating.
Single life - my parents and I gave out Halloween ziplock bags STUFFED w/@ least 20 different kinds of candy. Married life - hubby likes to give out 3 pieces of candy from one giant bag. I am hoping for 10 pieces in a ziplock @ least. As a child, my daddy was a candy rep, so we gave out 1-2 full bars, so it is hard to not give a lot!!
One year a lady down the street gave out of candy, but she still answered her door and asked us our favorite kind and our address. My girlfriend and I were only 7-8 & told her - not thinking she would remember. She did and she gave us a full bag each. I miss being a kid...lol
I just called Hop Sing's and I ordered 2000 lbs. of soup.
ReplyDeleteIt was Won Ton, of course.

ReplyDeleteI'm putting on my SheRa costume and heading to your place, cc423. Candy is dandy, but booze makes me a flooze.
ReplyDeletePlace an assortment of sealed candy bars in a plastic pumpkin and tell them to pick one.
