Selena and the Biebs? Some Hillsong church meeting perhaps?
Selena / Biebs?
LOL if it's douchi-biebs and sel-lowselfesteem-a - then why are they even bothering going to church. Just stay home and do it freely there....
I'm surprised more celebs don't die of coke intoxication. It's everywhere.
Selena-Biebs. That girl's a mess. She won't see the other side of 30 if she keeps it up. Friend gave her a kidney--and she's pissing it away. She may not get another one. AND, she's using Lupus as the excuse. Show me statics showing a young teen diagnosed with Lupus AND then shortly after requiring a new kidney---doesn't compute.
@kiki: She almost did die. Her friend stepped up, gave away one of her kidney's and she's right back at the drugs.
@Aunt T Histamine, Selena's lupus wasn't recently diagnosed, i remember hearing about it for years. i can't say whether or not she's using drugs now (i mean i really really hope not, since her friend gave her that kidney and she's trashing it if so) but honestly? i think her lupus is just pretty severe. i mean, to need a major organ transplant at 25 is kind of a big deal, though admittedly i know not a whole lot about the disease. i just know that i have a family member with it and they are elderly now and never did they ever need a transplant. she just seems really exhausted and sick, i feel bad for her. selena, that is.
Has there been a more mutually destructive relationship since Sid and Nancy?
At this point, I'm not even sure I buy the kidney transplant story. We saw a scar photo, but not Selena's face in the same shot. But, if she really did have a transplant, she needs to be extra-careful, and it doesn't look like that is happening. Who knows if this blind is even about them, however? Based on the info, it could be almost any couple.
Enlighten me because I honestly don't know: what are the implications/ side effects of coke use (besides accidental overdose, nose issues) ? I literally know nothing about coke: does it give you energy or make you zen? Lead to cravings and weight gain or help control appetite?
Kate, essentially it makes you feel like you scored the winning goal in the World Cup in overtime. The high is not very long...15-20 minutes, which is why celebrities do so much so quickly, because if you want to stay high you've got to keep using every 20ish minutes for hours. I stay far, far away from it. Heavy users typically lose a lot of weight as it suppresses appetite.
This totally fits for Bieber/Gomez. Such a shame...
The church needs a wakeup call for how much they are doting on him and enabling him to get more recognition for themselves. From James 2:3:
2Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. 3If you lavish attention on the man in fine clothes and say, “- Here is a seat of honor,” but say to the poor man “You must stand,” or, “Sit at my feet,” 4have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
She was young when she was diagnosed. Verrry unusual to be diagnosed that young. Then to require a kidney at 25 is even more extremely unusual. IF she has Lupus and was using then that will effect kidney/liver function(s). Hence, my belief that her sudden, extreme, life-or-death need of a new kidney was facilitated by drug/alcohol abuse.
@Cheez Whiz, it's definitely about them.
From People.com:
"Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez head to church (again!) for Wednesday Worship"
@Aunt T, Lupus is much more prevalent in young women of color (especially black and latina) and it is not uncommon for lethal symptoms to develop at a younger than normal age. I saw 2 good friends die from complications from Lupus before their thirtieth birthday, one was awaiting a new kidney, she was 26. Additionally, my father's first wife died of Lupus-related kidney disease at the age of 30.
If Selena did indeed have a kidney transplant, I truly hope she is not abusing this gift! However, I would not be surprised if she is dealing with complications due to her Lupus diagnosis and anti-rejection medication.
Selena and Justin at his church ??? Do they go twice weekly? Lol
I’m with you, Cheez Whiz! I don’t buy the transplant story either. I thought I was the only one.
According to my nephrologist, Selena definitely had the transplant and according to me, you can clearly tell when she’s on steroids to treat the lupus when she has the chipmunk cheeks in her photos. She doesn’t always have the big cheeks. I just want to know how long she’s known this ‘friend’. Was she really her BFF or was she a super fan?
Hospitals would not loan equipment out for a photo Op. Especially in California for a celebrity. Her appearance suggests that she indeed had a procedure especially with swollen face. Prednisone does that....
I love your name!! Friends daughter passed away from kidney failure at 25 due to lupus and it was devastating...treat your body like a temple...stop using drugs dummies
Aunt t
If you read about Hillsong's history, I wouldn't really call it a church anymore. Lots of scandal, lots of celebrities at the US location looking for publicity. It's a business. They produce decent music, but that's about it. Can't stand them; they're a brand, like Joel Osteen. Not a church.
Lots of almost instant energy and euphoria. You feel unstoppable for about 15 min, then chase, chase, chase!!!!.
Definitely an appetite suppressant. But when u come down you're likely to eat an entire chocolate cake..
So cute. Once they crest into Heroin they can be this generation's Sid and Nancy, but with no memorable songs between em.
Dang, i should have read all the comments, ya beat me to it.
Katsm0711, Francia Raisa is the friend that gave her kidney and Selena and her have been friends for years. She's an actress too, was on Secret Life of an American Teenager so it wasn't a super fan.
For some reason, I feel no sympathy for them, just the loved ones they’ll leave behind. They choose to do what they do.
Do Tell nailed it. They are the comical adolescent version of Sid and Nancy. Sid and Nancy would eat those two brats for lunch and then spit out the bones.
Hiilsong is to spiritual enlightenment to what McDonalds is to proper Nutrition.
The come down is badddd. It will make you suicidal, I don't know how they do it, mind you they probably just stay high and avoid the downer.
The drugs don't work...
Kidney failure is very common with Lupus, especially if she has Lupus Nephritis. There are even children with Lupus that require kidney transplants, although less common, since onset doesn't typically start until late teens/early 20's. Once diagnosed, some can go decades with minimal organ involvement, while others almost immediately need to go in the transplant list. It all depends on how badly the body attacks itself.
