Blind Item #8
No, it isn't sexual violence, but this A list artist who is used by studios everyday and is the best of the best when it comes to comic book movies is still emotionally and verbally abusive to women. A string of them apparently. If you try to end a relationship with him, he will berate you and demean you. If you actually go through with ending it, he will do everything he can to try and ruin you financially or make sure you can't get work in that very small corner of the entertainment world. His day is coming.
Stan Lee?
ReplyDeletePatrick Tatapoulos?
ReplyDeleteProduction Designer for all the DC movies for the last decade or so
Deletefrank miller?
ReplyDeleteJohn Cassaday?
ReplyDeleteHeh, I don't think the soon to be 95 yr old Stan Lee is much of a player anymore to be ending many relationships
ReplyDeletehttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3196085/Stan-Lee-92-sued-ex-assistant-severe-constant-mental-abuse.html Seems pretty malicious.
ReplyDeleteIm with just sayin'😶 and Google Frank, he looks like a creep.
ReplyDeletethanks sandybrook -- i'm reading an article calling him basically an a$$hole in every way. "still" emotionally and verbally abusive indicates age or a long reputation for being that way. and miller seems to be in a career decline. thought of stan lee at first of course, but he's so old -- is viagra really that good???
ReplyDeleteTatopoulos fits for the constant work on comic book films, but he’s in no way an A list artist.
ReplyDeleteStan Lee was a writer/huckster
Frank Miller can barely get comics work now, can’t imagine movie studios using him for anything other than consulting on adaptations of his own work
I doubt for 95 yr olds it does anything except kill them.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Frank Miller gets much work. A friend of mine dated him and found him creepy and abusive, though.
ReplyDeleteJoss Whedon?
ReplyDeleteMax Landis. Lots of females who have worked with him have been complaining.
ReplyDeleteNeither are artists tho
ReplyDeleteJoss Whedon
ReplyDeleteTodd mcfarlane?
ReplyDelete+1 Joss Whedon
ReplyDeleteWhoever this is, I guarantee it is some "male feminist" who cannot stop signaling his virtue. There is no such thing as a "male feminist". Only beta males who use flattery and pandering to get laid. All of them should be rounded up and thrown in prison, as they will guaranteed rape some drunk woman sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteand so it begins:
ReplyDeletethe nerd stash: Bright Writer Max Landis Accused of Sexual Assault
I'm thinking some costume artist. Ironhead studios president or founder?
ReplyDeleteGuess his day is here.
ReplyDeletei think britt's article cinches it. this is about stan lee. what other comic book artist in movies would we be able to guess? btw, why did guesses about max landis post in this thread instead of blind item 12?
ReplyDeleteStan Lee is a famous comic book WRITER and CREATOR, he is NOT a comic book ARTIST.
ReplyDeleteBesides the fact Stan Lee is NOT an artist (he is a writer, creator), he is not 'used by studios everyday'.
ReplyDeleteI think the item may be talking about someone in a role like a storyboard artist or set designer who works on lots of movies, but who happens to do some of his best work on comic book movies. I've no idea who that could be.
Maybe this helps:

Not sexual violence, so not Landis. Zack Snyder?
ReplyDeleteTodd MacFarlane.
ReplyDeleteHe's A list and working on Spawn and Venom now. Great guess Jerkula.
Very Nice And Interesting Post
