Hugh Laurie for the TV actor.
Drunk FB mostly movie actor-Russell Crowe?
I thought of Russell Crowe as the FB drunk as well.
David Michod, mirrah Fowlkes, drunk ass Russell Crowe and Hugh Laurie?Michod is remaking Catch 22 with George Clooney for Hulu.
Michael Gracey for the director?
@sandybroook - He is remaking it as an executive producer and co-writer, he's not set to direct (that's Clooney and Grant Heslov)> Would "helming" fit in this context?
Also, Michod has been married for years now, she's hardly his "new wife".
I was thinking James Wan, who is now post-producing Aquaman, but I can't find any info on him getting married, either recently or ever ;)
what's so awful about this? without other details, she had a thing with some very famous actor, who's a drunk (aren't they all?), and a thing with a married guy. i bet the director has a past too.
If Michod is married, it was secret and recent.
Russell Crowe and Simon Baker?
@Don, idk. Wikipedia has picture of him with his wife Mirrah Foulkes dated 2012 ;)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Mich%C3%B4d
I saw that, but every other search shows them as in a long time relationship, but not married
Executive Producer would be considered helming because he hires the director and sets the budget and really has final say on who the director hires. The question is whether he married Mirrah or not. If he's the answer.
forgot the EP question. They would definitely be at the helm. They either are the money men, or represent the money men and are responsible for making sure everything goes right
However, the Catch-22 "helmed" by Michod is a mini series, not a movie, as the BI states. Also, there's usually more than one EP, and since Clooney is also one here (and there may be many more, but there's hardly any info on this production available at IMDb), I wouldn't be so sure Michod is the one making the key decisions here.
I seriously don't care who is worried about the past of his wife coming to light, but I'm curious who is supposed to be the next big thing ;)
@nancer, Enty is implying that she was a very $pecial, PAID friend.
Speaking of Australia. Kylie Monogue's rear is the best that country has ever had to offer.
The Spierig Brothers, Michael and Peter, have a movie with Helen Mirren, WINCHESTER, coming out in two weeks, but I can't find ANY info on their personal lives, so I don't know if they are married or not.
Andrew Dominik is in pre-production on a movie with Jessica Chastain called Blonde, and he got engaged to Bella Heathcoate in 2017. So maybe Enty is equating marriage and engagement? He was once a "nex big thing" when THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD came out.
Nash Edgerton, Joel's brothers, is making his directorial debut on a movie called GRINGO coming in March. He's only been married since 2014; I guess with him it depends on how long Enty defines "new" as.
I agree with the Crowe and Laurie guesses as the A listers.
He is "helming!"
Chris Hemsworth to make a SHOCK switch to directing after he sets up production studio with wife Elsa Pataky

Th director is Taika Waititi. "Helmed" Thor. Wife is Chelsea Winstanley.
Taika is from New Zealand. Otherwise he would have been my first thought, too.
'Really Russell?' Thor stars Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo laugh off actor Crowe's claims that one particular fighting scene was 'already done' in Gladiator
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-4986726/Thor-Ragnarok-stars-stab-Russell-Crowe.html#ixzz54PIWC8Hw
You can just smell the bad blood.
It's not Michod - a Hulu series isn't a movie.
It's not Waititi - from New Zealand, and Thor: Ragnarok came out too long ago.
I don't think Gracey is married.
Melvin's guesses are good, although I think we can rule out Andrew Dominik unless the blind said "previous next big thing".
Is Garth Davis recently married? Or Anthony Maras?
Dominik is New Zealand-born.
I'm going with Wan on this. In addition to Aquaman being a major release this year, he's been dating the "actress" Ingrid Bisu (https://www.instagram.com/p/BBzYhgPlePQ/?hl=en) for some time. It wouldnt be a suprise if they were married, and just keeping that aspect private.
Next 'big Australian' is Paramount's gamble on Julius Avery and $pecial wifey Madeleine. Guessing drunk client is Russell Crowe? Don't G Butler and Jonathan Rhys Meyers have reputations for being drunk?
