Blind Item #7

This former A list comic/reality star/host/part-time actress really thinks she is going to be invited back to a long time gig she hosted. Despite the failings of her replacement, she just doesn't stand a chance. It will crush her. She has no support from anyone in a position to get her old job back. They just worry about themselves and no one else.

  1. Andy Cohen got terrible reviews

  2. Kathy Griffin and she Is delusional to think she gets another tv gig.

  3. So weird-I justvposted her on the blind before this one which is also #7 lol

  4. What Kathy doesn't understand is... it doesn't matter how *bad* anyone else is - they're never going to want HER again. Ever.

  5. Kathy Griffith. What she posted was awful, but considering that there were t-shirts for sale at the official RNC merch tables featuring Hillary beheaded as well as multiple items referring to her as the c-word, and there were people openly wearing t-shirts asking for journalists to be hung, I don't buy conservative tears about Kathy.

She should be able to work again, even though I thought her stunt was tacky and inappropriate.

Also, I've always thought Andy Cohen was an a-hole who laughs at people not with them. I'm glad he flopped. Okay, Kathy does the same thing, but she at least managed to entertain people. I was never a big fan of her humor but I still think she got a sort of raw deal.

    1. @Molly, I think you are confused. Merchandise of that nature was being sold OUTSIDE by unofficial street vendors at the RNC, from what I read. NOT BY THE RNC, and certainly not inside the convention. Lol. Come on now. The liberal-minded mainstream media would have pounced on that, and you know it.

    2. Also please remember the way they spoke to and about pres obama was beyond the pale. How about referring to michelle obama as a gorilla in a dress? I dont want to compete for the most offensive thing said or done, but why was her taking that pic so over the top, pearl clutching, business? It was over reaction to terrible stunt, but be that as it may, she has to realize she is personna non grata in show biz now and prob will be for next decade.

  6. I agree. Who are the real snowflakes here?

  7. Her photo went WAY beyond art. It was offensive and advocated violence.

  8. Agree TexCal, It was also intentionally made very, very public.

  10. Common sense should have told not to go that far. She isn't the first comic to hate/dislike a President, but the overreacting by Hollywood is silly

  11. I think Kathy could have come back eventually from the photo. It would have taken some time, but if she played her cards correctly and stood by her initial apology, everything would have blown over.

However, she really made a mistake by lawyering up w/Bloom, holding that ridiculous press conference and THEN by slamming Cohen and others via social media. Her bitterness, desperation, and her "If I'm going down, then I'm taking you MFers with me!!" mentality has surely led to an ACTUAL blacklist in Lala Land...and this one isn't a Trump orchestrated one.

    1. @N. Twinkie, I'm assuming you believe outlets such as CNN and MSNBC are fair, impartial and completely neutral in their reporting? Too funny, you probably do. Lol.

Fox obviously leans to the right, but the others slant far to the left. More of the mainstream outlets lean left, than they do right. What's sad is that NONE of them should push ANY AGENDA, right or left, yet they all do. And the majority of them are pushing leftist material. Period. I have yet to find one based in the US that meets my standards of neutrality. BBC seems more impartial than the cr@p networks we have stateside.

Intentionally suggesting an ISIS beheading Of our elected President, and compounding the gaffe by a...surreal press conference, just might get you blackballed for life.

Especially if you are an aging talent that isn't everyone's cup of tea to begin with.

  14. ONly funny thing she ever said was when Benjy was screaming behind her on a live mic and she said, "Hey buddy, I don't go to your job and knock the dicks out of your mouth."

Carrot Top w/ Tits is horrible. She should just do a podcast, so her 14 fans can give her $5/month.

  15. Time to just nix the whole Anerson Cooper NYE show. It sucked and not just because of Cohen.

  16. Kathy Griffin should try radio. She definitely has the face for it!

  17. She will get work again -- just not anything huge like NYE ball drop or Macy Thanksgiving Parade or Emmy/Oscars host. There are talented celebrities by the dozen for those.

  18. Rosie O'Donnell wants back on The View? She fits better than Kathy Griffin for this.

  19. I agree with Rosie. She nails it for the blind.

  20. Did Enty double-post this post?

  21. Why do people assume that any "put your label here" is just fine and dandy with whatever anyone else in that political group does? I don't think anyone smearing Michele Obama as a gorilla or a man is acceptable, and I don't think Kathy Griffin's stunt was acceptable. You people - and by that I mean people who think politics is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING AND YOU MUST THINK EXACTLY LIKE ME - do not understand that things are not black and white. There are many many shades of gray, and most of us are quietly disgusted by the antics on all sides.

  22. This is Rosie, not KG.
