Blind Items Revealed #5

December 5, 2017

If nothing comes up, than this former Oscar nominee who is an A- list mostly movie actor from an acting family has a good chance at another Oscar nomination or win. The problem he is facing is we already know he likes underage girls. It is on record. Nothing happened to him before. Now, there are going to be others who are underage going on the record again. A few years ago we somehow let him get away with it, but he won't this time and all that Oscar buzz will be gone.

James Franco (something did come up and it happened exactly like the blind said it would)

  3. So ... you're saying he's just misunderstood?

  4. He's through. Finished. Done. Any women who agrees to appear in a film with him will see her career get flushed, so who's going to take the role?

I stopped liking him when he made that literally satanic music video with Kenneth Anger, from a band called "Daddy," no less (the pedophile dream term, heard from their tween victim?). And yet all the hipster hacks nodded and clucked to him for being so "edgy."

And don't even get me started on "The Interview," which was like a primer course on transgressive humor for the dark arts. Franco is probably one of the absolute worst L.A.'s got to offer.

  5. @DDonna: I stopped liking him when he asked a teenager on instagram whether he should get a hotel room for them. He's a creep and his career is over, thankfully. So pretentious.

  6. I am saying I read the article about the 3 bims who were on some morning show the other day, claiming to be "victims". 1 said she willingly blew him hoping he would like her. Not a victim. One was paid to do a nude scene, and never claimed to be touched/assaulted. Not a victim. One said she was in a relationship with him, and the worst I saw that she said he did was call her a Bitch and a Retard, and we don't know what context they were used in. Not a victim.

If you can't show me something he did that was wrong, then he did nothing wrong, and certainly nothing illegal, and nothing warranting the persecution that is going on.

    1. So true . In this case these girls are just grasping at fame or feeling jilted . James Franco doesn't seem like he needs to force himself on someone .

  7. I'm afraid his "outting" isn't going very well. His will be shoved under the carpet.
Annnd, unfortunately, I have to agree with Count's account of the interview. I rather was waiting for the "what he did really wrong" and it never came.
The girls on The Talk pretty much said what the Count said.
Franco will go in hiding for awhile and it'll be back to same.

  8. Dona, you seem to be obsessed with making everything satanism or the Illuminati. Maybe being into underage girls is a bit worse than "satanism."

  9. Sorry Count, teens under 18 are off limits despite the state limitations differing. Teachers and Police officers are being locked up for this. Hollywood is in California not France, Thailand or whatever catches your fancy. Franco is an entitled rich brat and karma is a bitch.he opened that school In order to have access to teens. Nuff said.

    ReplyDelete
  10. What about that whole acting school thing? Most schools that kept a fuck room for teachers/students would see the administrators facing charges. Except for the Bursar's office where they fuck everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Schools are magnets for perverts and priests. Teens do not have consent with adults in position of power. Porn hub and their cheesy films are to blame for this. So many guys my age have their brains rewired thinking its ok . Well it's not.

    ReplyDelete
  12. No Auntie, they are not off limits. If they want to play big girl games and they are legal to do so, then game on.

    ReplyDelete
  13. The first time I heard the joke about "the curb test" was from a public school teacher, I fear for the future.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Brayson: Has anyone come forward and said they got banged in a school fuck room by Franco, or you think people should be convicted based on internet gossip?

    ReplyDelete
  15. I reluctantly agree with @Count Jerkula. I know Enty hates him, and he may be guilty of WAY worse things, but we don't know about those.

While a grown sleeping with 17-yr olds is disgusting and should be illegal everywhere, it is technically legal. It's just as disgusting when old men only date 18-19 year olds, but where is the outrage there??

All of these women willingly did everything they describe. They even admit to this. They have nobody to blame but themselves. The worst thing I've read so far is the girl who blew Franco, and this was because she liked him and she thought it would help her career. It didn't, and now she's angry.

Franco is gross and should be called out, but he's no more gross than any of the other heroes of Hollywood. Here's a list of CURRENT Oscar nominees who have been publicly accused of far worse than Franco:
    Gary Oldman
    Denzel Washington
    Meryl Streep
    Christopher Plummer

Franco deserves to get shafted, but only after these beloved actors get shafted first.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I agree with everything Count is saying. While Franco has a rep for being a skeeze he certainly had no problem finding women willing to get ahead by any means. The women that have come forward have not said anything that is remotely similar or even on the same level as Weinstein or even Mario Battalli. He was snubbed cause the Oscar committee didn’t want to deal with any of the yapping from the #metoo movement. They’re all a bunch of snobby cowards. What a shame

  20. How about the similar argument that if you're old enough to die for your country (join the military), you're old enough to drink? Try convincing the US feds to lower the drinking age to 18. Good luck with that.

In Canada, the age of sexual consent is 16, but 14- and 15-year olds can have sex with someone less than 5 years older (according to a CBC summary from 2008.) Apparently all US states set their limits between 16 and 18. It looks like just under half the US states set it at 17 or 18.

So, Count Jerkula's purely personal opinion is his opinion, but the letter of the law depends on what state you're in. Arbitrary though it may seem, it is what it is. Count, feel free to lobby for political reform, but in the meantime, best to check ID. ;)

Now for my own purely personal opinion; based on my friends' and my own judgment calls on sexual decisions pre-adulthood, if I could be dictator for a day, I would raise the age of consent to 18, with the less-than-5-years rule for 16 and 17 year olds, and a less-than-3 years rule for 14 and 15-year-olds. A grade 8 with a grade 12 kid? Think about the dynamics. No way. Right? You know I'm right...

    1. Yer back already? I am sad you were not mature enough at 16 to have sex with whoever you wanted. Judgung by your comments, you probably arent now either. You are not everyone though. Society dictates what is acceptable, and states are responsible for enforcing it. 16 and 17 have been determined by the majority of states to be the age where people should be in control of their bodies. If you dont like it, i am sure you can stomp uer foot and hold yer breath until it changes.

  28. It is true, that some of the accusations are ridiculous and it's obvious these women wanted to hook up with him first and later jumped on the train to play the victims. Or the one who signed contract to take off her clothes on set and says it's abusive LOL. They're just as unprofessional as he is.

But he still is a predator.
His school was created only to have a playground for hook ups with teenagers.
I've read that some of the parents were mad that Franco was hooking up with their 16yo kid and that's their right.
God knows how young was the youngest of his hookups.
Yeah, some people are mature enough to fuck at 16yo, others aren't mature at 20, however in USA and in most of western countries, underage sex is taboo, and that's why he's fucked now lol.

  29. I think we're assuming, based on blinds, that there's some really bad stuff on Franco. But what's been made public so far just sounds like morning-after or year-after regrets for bad decisions. It may be enough to get him chased out of what passes for polite society in Hollywood, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him make a comeback in a few years if nothing worse comes out. This is still the same crowd that would welcome Roman Polanski back with a parade.

  31. I'm with Count on this. My parents claimed control over my body and it was wrong. 16 for driving a car or having sex should be legal. The fact that people coddle and shelter their children so they are completely ignorant of how to handle themselves in the adult world is much more dangerous. (Fwiw, I'm in my forties now.)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Count, I don't know if there is evidence that he fucked anyone underage.
But even if he only tried, which apparently he did a lot of times, that's something he shouldn't do. I'm not the one who's making the rules lmao.

  33. When I was teenager my mother was mad at me too for trying to hook up with certain rockstar who is 30 years older than me, I know it sucks, but that's how this world works LOL.

  34. 17 y/o was not underage and i see no evidence of him trying with u/a bims.

  35. Count, apparently it's the open secret there in Hollywood. They all knew enough, and they decided it's too inappropriate, if they refused him nominations this year. I don't think they would care otherwise.

    ReplyDelete
  36. The Count is correct. 17 is age of consent in NYC. That's why I told him to check ID. In West Virginia Franco would have been fucked.
    https://www.ageofconsent.net/states/new-york
That means so far, it doesn't seem like there's any hard (no pun intended) evidence beyond gossip/rumor about Franco. Although the reactions (Franco's included) were interesting to Seth Meyer's joke at the Golden Globes about The Deuce and a 1970s Times Square "so sleazy that it had TWO James Francos." haha.
But hey, this is a gossip site after all. So we'll all keep conjecturing until something solid surfaces, or it doesn't. After all, it seems like it took a few years with Spacey. And goddamn 20 years for Nassar and all those athletes. Lord I'm glad to see he got life, and not just once. 40 to 270 years!

  39. "If you can't show me something he did that was wrong, then he did nothing wrong, and certainly nothing illegal, and nothing warranting the persecution that is going on."

    Okay, I'll bite.

No, nothing illegal about anything Franco did, that is true. What I find...unseemly...or at least compromising...is that he used students, from his position of authority over them, to film orgy strip club scenes and to film them nude in his "experimental" films that have not seen the light of day. These are young women who he promised roles to, and exposure, and lots of other perks for signing up for his classes. Notice - never young men, always young women.

If the women refused, Franco yelled and threw things around.

My thought is that Franco could have gone with union actresses who know the score, who would have representation and could demand union reps on the set to outline their demands and parameters. That is not what Franco did. He chose young, inexperienced, women to be part of his Andy Warhol experiments, to make himself feel like a big shot auteur, and to make them pliable to his demands.

So while nothing illegal happened, Franco is fuckt. He shut down his schools abruptly last year. Wonder why.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Plot: how long did he have the schools running? They were probably a hobby write off and he shuttered them before the 5ys ya got of not showing a profit.

He hasnt been accused by any of the students of fucking them and if they were filmed nude, then they were all over 18.

  41. Strong answer there Count about the school!

I'm not saying what Franco did with his students is illegal. It might not even be that repellent to a whole lot of people. It is to me, maybe because I've lived through being a young woman who a whole lot of authority figures tried to manipulate with my naivete. At the same time, any sort of repercussions for Franco's behavior, based on a type of fanaticism of the moment, is also repellent. So, we'll wait and see what comes of this.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I absolutely believe that if Franco continues on the road he is on, he will end up being a sexual predator and there will be some hugely publicized cases.
I haven't seen any evidence of underage sex yet so I don't know if they exist or not. If there aren't, he is treading a pretty damned fine line and have no doubt that on his current power/ego trip, he WILL cross it sooner rather than later. I WOULD like to hear the situation to which Ally Sheedy alludes, however. It had to be pretty damned serious if she left Hollywood and acting because of the actions of another.
I saw the woman writing about Franco and the nude scenes/signing a contract. If you walked into it with your eyes wide open AND signed a contract, then it seems to me as though she is SOL. Let's face it, women have been doing nude scenes in movies forever.
I believe that he is an asshole, and in the future--if he hasn't already--he will slip up and be judged. I'm just not sure about his position right now, though, until I hear more.
PS I am sorry about this silly screen name, I don't know how to change it.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I’m with Count on this. Whilst Franco’s a skeeze, the accusations so far have been ridiculous. No evidence of him sleeping with anyone underage, as of yet.

By no means in the same league as Singer, Weinstein etc.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I agree that Franco is a manipulative a-hole. However, I wonder if those women would have the same reaction to him now if what they did had worked out in their favor. If anything had turned into a long term relationship or a successful career we would not have heard about any of this. Same reason we won't see a lot of our successful actors/actresses come forward and admit that they too were paid with movie roles. Not too many women or men want to admit to prostitution.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think some of Franco's students did okay, managed to land a few roles with an equity card attached. Somewhere, on a gossip site, there were a few mentioned.

You are right, they wouldn't talk at all.

Some of the successful actors and actresses are speaking out now, though. Maybe not revealing the depths of the abuse and harassment, but they sure are supporting the movement and admit it's a huge problem in Hollywood. Even Scarlett Johansson is a passionate supporter, and you know she has experienced her fair share of male entitlement to her body in Hollywood.

They don't have to reveal their own stories. That's entirely up to them. What I really don't like, personally, are those like GOOP who massaged Weinstein into big movie roles but demur when asked to make any statement about MeToo or comment generally about anything she experienced (beyond saying Brad Pitt was her White Knight, blech!) And what is Cate Blanchet's statement on all this?

    ReplyDelete
  46. > He's through. Finished. Done.

He’ll bounce back. The public has a short memory, Hollywood in particular. Look at Roman Polanski ffs; he sodomized a 13-year-old girl and yet some in the industry welcomed him back with open arms. Jack Nicholson is another degenerate who had sex with young teens but he was too smart to get caught, or he paid them off. Hollywood loves him and rewarded him with insanely lucrative roles and awards. Angelica Houston knew full well what he was doing but it was more important to her to be his consort so she looked the other way.

    ReplyDelete
  47. "James Franco doesn't seem like he needs to force himself on someone"

yabbut, does he like to force himself on young women, like having power over them. That's the question (which I can't answer but things look very suspicious.)

Shit, Ted Bundy was handsome in his prime and certainly didn't need to force anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Coming from Scandinavia where sexual consent limit is 16, driving is 18 and drinking is 18, you Americans sure are weird haha! I would agree that if you're 25+ it's kind of yucky to have sex with a 16-17 year old though xD

    ReplyDelete
  49. Polanski was never rejected by Hollywood in the first place. There were three factors that saved him from censure -

    1. the death of Sharon Tate

    2. the judge in his case was going to reject the plea deal which the DA and Polanski had agreed to, therefore Polanski ran.

    3. Polanski continued to make fucking amazing movies.

I'm not saying any of those are good reasons for not rejecting Polanski, however, just that it wasn't only about wealth and power in his case.

    ReplyDelete
  50. He DM'd an underaged girl and then stopped when he found out? I think the only thing that's clear is these blinds are *slightly* exaggerrated.

  56. Franco is not a victim here. He was rumored to have slept with Lohan when she was underage and unfortunately where there's smoke there's fire. The current situations we know of if not evidence may just be the tip of an iceberg where there is, hence him paying off accusers.
