Blind Item #10 - Musings Of A Former A+ List Tweener
The quotes are from the former A+ list tweener. I provided the descriptions.
"The network brass at this huge family of networks is complicit in allowing predators to continue to work for their company, many times after they are exposed. On my last series, I personally witnessed the producers and show runners fondle, kiss, hug, and even forced male actors to sit on their lap. One of the kids on the show was just 12 years old. What I saw shocked me to my core and honestly wouldn’t be surprised if my decision not to play the game had something to do with me being fired.
It was the most uncomfortable, unprofessional, sadistic, agenda-driven set I’ve ever worked on. And on top of that, the honchos in charge seemingly conditioned everyone on the set to become accustomed to this inappropriate behavior."
(One of the producers of the show, who is A+ list has already been exposed and has the full support of at least two female permanent A listers.)
"The other two are currently slated to begin another show at the network. I think it’s important for children, especially child actors to understand the dangers of the industry. And how parents can be easily manipulated and forced to allow their children to be put into adult situations. I was not a minor when I started working on this series. The show I did before that was a massive hit and there was nothing inappropriate ever that took place on set. I worked on that show during my early to mid teen years.
The last show, even though it was a hit was a different experience for me because it was the first time I openly witnessed grooming of young talent and physical contact between older men and young actors.
One of the first episodes of the show was directed by (former A- list mostly television actor from back in the day who had a hit network show and has been spoken about in this space before.) One day after filming I discovered him using drugs with two of my adult cast mates on the set. They made me promise to stay quiet. And it was definitely one of the worst experiences of my life.
I’m not seeking any attention. My goal is too simply do my part to help expose some of the darkness in the industry. The sad thing is there are so many honest, hard-working genuine people that work on sets. From hair and makeup and scenic/ special effects artists, gaffers, craft service, etc. that do just want to go to work and be home at night to spend some time with their kids. Then there are legitimate executives and predators who hide behind charity and live as though they are 18 years old and in High School, sexualizing underage talent at parties and even on set in plain view. The reason people are afraid to speak out is job security.
Getting a job in the entertainment business is a matter of relationships, connections, and getting hired based on who you know. No working professional wants to risk losing their source of income. Tutors who speak out on set are fired. The people who are responsible for looking out for the welfare of minors on set are very complicit in allowing the behavior to continue."

DeleteAll of them. This blind is to vague for me. The actress's identity is key here.
ReplyDeleteStaci Keanen? I don't think Amanda has said a thing yet.
ReplyDeleteDirector is Richard Cornell - He was an actor in the 60s on like Leave it to Beaver, Lassie, etc
DeleteYes, I looked at every director of the first season of Step By Step - There were only 3 thankfully, haha
DeleteAshley Tisdale?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDelete@airhead I have never heard of Mayim being fired from a show.
DeleteFormer A- lost mostly television....Charlie Sheen?
ReplyDeleteI think the former A- list star with a back in the day show turned director is Fred Savage. He's known now for being a tv director and his early imdb credits list a lot of iacom shows. That's all I got for now.
ReplyDeleteOn this thread, he directed the first episode of All About Us in 2001
DeleteThank you so much for speaking truth and supporting children. We appreciate you and everyone who is stepping forward. God bless you.
ReplyDelete+10000
DeleteThank goodness for once someone's doing this for other people anonymously (and even mentioned crew members who just wanted to keep their jobs). So sick of people using the #MeToo movement to bring attention to themselves (or make bad dates out to be #MeToo situations where they're not). I wouldn't even try to guess who this person is, I'd honour her anonymity. I hope she finds peace.
I hope the people who can't sleep at night witnessing this because they just want to make a living and provide for their families find something better too.
I agree with the Tis and the show that was professional was Phineas and Ferb
ReplyDeleteJennette McCurdy, Schneider, Icarly good first series, Sam & Cat bad 2nd series? More than a few of the Sam & Cat producers are now on Schneider's Henry Danger.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what 2 female permanent A listers support him, though
+1 Sandybrook.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw your comment, I knew exactly what you were referring to:
1) My Two Dads where she was protected.
2) Step by Step would be the one where she saw atrocities.
its Enty, he's blaming others to show how noble he can be when faced with non-events.
ReplyDeleteRichard Correll as the former TV star from back in the day turned director?
ReplyDeleteYeah glue I don't know if she was fired from anything though and Step by Step had Warner Brothers involved in producing it.
ReplyDeleteI can't find a single producer of the show who would be considered A list or having already been exposed.
DeleteSandybrook - I forgot about Step by Step. I liked that show and now the theme song is stuck in my head. I didn't realize this blind was going that far back.
ReplyDeleteNeither Brandon Call nor Josh Byrne worked in the business after that show.
Can't be Staci Keanan.
ReplyDeleteThe actress states that she was not a minor in her later show. She was 15 or 16 when Step By Step started.
This us someone who had a hit show as a tween (where they felt safe), then had a hit show as an adult, where kids on the set were being abused. This is the show with the possibly sketchy actor/ director.
Joey Lawrence? He certainly counts as A+ in his tween days and was on Blossom during his teens years. Ted Wass for director (he was also the dad on Blossom).
ReplyDeleteJennette McCurdy.
ReplyDelete21 when Sam and Cat aired. 15 with iCarly. Fired.
Early episode filmed by Dan Frischman, who was on Head of the Class, with Dan Schneider.
Ummmm...which one of Step by Step's producers was A+ list?
ReplyDeleteFirst ever post.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it is Jamie Lynn Spears
1st show All That
2nd show Zoey 101
In Zoey 101 Fred Savage directed Episode 3 of season 1, and its Dan Schneider
@Bosh90. Not Jamie Lynn because she was a minor during Zoey 101's entire run.
DeleteDan Scheiner for the pervet pedo. Another jewish. Not a surprise.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you still here? Go to Kneepads, thanks so much! 💋
DeleteAlfonso Ribeiro for the director/former actor.
ReplyDeleteAriel Winter?
ReplyDeleteMark Linn-Baker and Steve Witting both directed early episodes of Step by Step (and Going Places), and Balki was big for a little bit. But if it was one of them, does that mean she didn't witness anything during Going Places, or nothing happened on that show? Or does it mean neither of them are the actor/director of one of the first episodes of the show?
ReplyDeleteThe I wasn't a minor thing does make the timeline not fit Staci, but maybe a typo or misdirect?
I want to submit the Harvey Weinstein produced TV Series, Clerks. A lot of big, then and now, actors on that show. It would fit the "One of the producers of the show, who is A+ list has already been exposed and has the full support of at least two female permanent A listers." line.
ReplyDeleteBesides the fact that TV Clerks was an incredibly short-lived animated series (so none of the performers had to be in the studio together to record), I there weren't really any parts voiced by minors.
Delete@Rafael go fuck yourself, this has nothing to do with religion.
ReplyDeleteWhat an anti-Semitic p.o.s. Rafael is.
Delete+1
DeleteI think it def could be Jamie Lynn Spears, considered A+ tweener. T.W., no where in blind does it mention her age or maturity at the time. She was around 13-16 yrs during the run of Zoey 101. Old enough to be aware of whats going on around her.
ReplyDeleteFred Savage directed eps 3 and 4 of season 1. Unless someone else is willing to do research on what A- former tv star directed first few eps of another series of a comparable A+ tweener, I am going with this.
@jujub - Please reread the blind. The actress in question stated she began working on the show when she was an adult. Zoey 101 ended when she was 17 or 18 years old. Not her unless Enty fudged information.
DeleteNickelodeon, shocked lol.
ReplyDeleteClerks was a cartoon, there was no set.
ReplyDeleteI agree, this is a male former tweener.
ReplyDeleteSo many hard-working, honest people on set?? Really? But they let child abuse happen under their noses??
ReplyDeleteYes exactly. I’m sorry, but no sympathy for people who stand by and watch paedophilia happen just to keep their job - get a new non-industry job!
DeleteFred Savage seems clean but his brother was involved with DEN, there used to be video of Marc Collins Rector greeting him with a butt squeeze. Very fucking creepy. There used to be info a plenty on that whole DEN rape shack but a lot of info has disappeared from internet.
ReplyDeleteIt's very possible both were groomed into this system?.
DeleteI wonder if Sean William Scott will ever come clean about DEN? That's the one that kicked it all of many moons ago.
ReplyDeleteWhat about miranda cosgrove? Drake and josh for the first show and icarly as the second show? Although i’m not sure how old she was during filming of icarly, she was definitely much older than when she acted on drake and josh, therefore more aware of her surroundings. I considered jennette mccurdy as the actress but im not sure if she qualified as an A+ tweener being that she never really portrayed a lead role like miranda cosgrove did. Either way, this has Dan Schneider’s fat pervy self written all over it!
ReplyDeleteTo the people naming frequently guessed victims, this person was shocked to witness grooming behavior on show 2 and never saw anything inappropriate on show 1, so those names don't fit.
ReplyDeleteDrake Bell
ReplyDelete13 when he did The Amanda Show
18 when he did Drake and Josh
D&J was produced by Dan Schneider
Fred Savage directed an episode in the first season.
Drake Bell allegedly abused by acting coach Brian Peck during this time as well.
DeleteI really don't think this came from someone who worked on the same network twice. It sounds like they had a great experience on the first massive hit show, (could anything on Nickelodeon be considered massive?) then, as an adult they were shocked on the set of another show. All the shows on Nick have Schneider's fingerprints on them. I can't imagine some shows getting special clean treatment.
ReplyDeleteWhat A+ list producer has already been exposed and has the support of a couple of A list actresses, other than Weinstein? That part seems to narrow down quickly.
ReplyDeleteThe speaker absolutely sounds like a male actor to me.
@InCatNeto, it's possible if they were not exactly the "type" for producers of one show...
ReplyDeleteFred Savage shows up on the OPEN SECRET documentary. I was a little taken aback by his appearance at the compound and speaking about parties.
ReplyDeleteIm pretty sure it was his bro. Boy meets world kid.
DeleteNot sure it all fits - but Jake T. Austin?
ReplyDeleteWizards of Waverly Place - Disney Channel
The Fosters - Freeform/ABC Family (left after season 2) - One of the kids on the show, Hayden Byerly, was 12/13 when the show started.
A+ Production guy on the show doesn't work though.
RE: The Fosters...there wasn't an A+ Production Guy, but there was an A+ Production Woman.
ReplyDeleteJennifer Lopez. Who has been "Exposed" on this site in a number of ways.
Just an idea.
@Rosenthal I totally agree. Graft and corruption is the American way, I've never seen an industry that didn't use some sleaze to grease the wheels. But ignoring child abuse is a whole different level. How would the "honest, hard-working genuine people" feel if it were their children being offered up like appetizers?
ReplyDeleteIf ordinary people are so good, why is it extraordinary when they do the right thing?
Have any of these guesses (former A+ tweener) zeroed in on someone who was no longer a minor when the 2nd series came along, and was fired from said series?
ReplyDeletepkelly491, I see you found what I was looking for.
ReplyDelete"former A- list mostly television actor from back in the day who had a hit network show and has been spoken about in this space before" would be Timothy Busfield.
Trying to figure out the upcoming show with the same producers. The next Nick show is Knight Squad whose creators come from Thundermans which is in the non-Schneider corner of the network.
ReplyDeleteWell dang.
ReplyDeleteDon't know why I assumed this was a girl. I guess it doesn't actually say. This opens up many more possibilities.
Also, sorry folks (and I am especially devastated), Fred Savage may not be "clean". He's been in the news this week as having harassed girls and women on The Wonder Years, and that's why it was cancelled.
I do believe he could've been a victim prior to and during that.
SteveD, The Fosters spin-off to be produced by Bredeweg and Paige.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the show, don't know shit about producers. I'm following up on pkelly491's guess, and these pieces fit, near as I can figure.
Benny Medina for the exposed producer.
ReplyDeleteI think we've cracked it. It's The Fosters.
ReplyDeleteBenny Medina is a producer and was recently accused of rape. The female "supporters" are probably JLo & Mariah.
D.E.N. wasn't like portrayed in An Open Secret. M & C Estate was as fun place, but there weren't daily pedo orgies like in the documentary. Once you realize the Amy Berg filmed around Michael Egans's accusations, which were later admitted to be untrue by his own attorneys - and him and his lawyers lost countersuits against them for the false allegations and were rewarded a 6 figure settlement, everything else falls apart (except Marc Collins-Rector and bf Chad Shackley). What they had going on behind closed doors in their bedroom, I don't know, but he is a convicted sex offender. Brock Pierce was a teen living a dream, but still a teen being "handled" by Marc and Chad. He didn't molest anyone that I'm aware of and hasn't been accused of doing so. He's actually a friendly guy who decided to take his skills to a different new digital revolution with Bitcoin.
ReplyDeleteNot to say things didn't happen at DEN, but not like in An Open Secret - thus the reason they were sued and forced to remove certain accusations from the doc. Amy Berg also happened to work with some of Egan's lawyer's, but surely just a coincidence and she had no idea the previous suits were thrown out and Egan was scolded by the judge for lying.
Brock Pierce is a registered sex offender. He wasn't innocent in this. Wow, i guess reality is what you believe. Brock Pierce was another procurer of young men for the machine. Im sorry if you're stuck with bitcoin, buy Brock is scum.
DeleteWatching it right now- did you not see the part where the father reads his son's deposition? It wasn't 'fun.' It was stomach-churning.
DeleteOh, good calls Mark and Sara. The pieces finally fall into place.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteAs for Alphy Hoffman...There was a open fun club with adults (parents, chaperones, etc) and teens.
ReplyDeleteBut there were also VIP parties and other closed of events that people I know did not attend, they only were in the club itself. Drinking soda
What about Harold Pruitt from Kids in Corporated??Isinit it alleged Alphy Hoffman molested him too?& would love to know what really happened to Rodney Harvey also
DeleteSara, Making It Work, I think pkelly491 scored. I was going to try to lay out all the players, but I've gotta run.
ReplyDeleteHere's most of them, in no particular order:
Jake T Austin
Wizards of Waverly Place
The Fosters
Timothy Busfield
Benny Medina
JLo
Mariah
The Fosters spin-off
Bredeweg
Paige
FreeForm / ABC ("huge family of networks" - FreeForm used to be ABC Family)
Stephen Collins was on the Fosters for an episode too. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteWhat is DEN?
ReplyDeleteSDaly - I respect your opinion. If we all believed the same thing, we wouldn't be able to work together and figure out the actual predators.
ReplyDeleteBoth Egan, and his lawyers, had to apologize for false accusations. His lawyer Jeffrey Herman has his own issues with integrity and the court - including being banned from a Federal courtroom and having the Florida bar suspend him for 18 mths. Regarding his representation of Egan, he had filed an accusation of misconduct in Hawaii when it was proven Egan had never been to Hawaii, much less during the time frame given. He then attempted to erase the Egan case from his Wiki page. He is the ambulance chaser of sexual assault cases and is in deep debt, so any hint of a case, legit or not, he jumps on. He also has been accused himself of sexual misconduct by an assistant.
I get the doc was compelling, especially with the recorded confessions, but if you remove the Egan drive behind the doc, you're just left with stories lacking any proof. I've talked with friends who were either on popular shows and in the same crowd (KIDS Incorporated) or adults also around at the time.
Again, I'm not saying Marc or Chad, or even Geffen, weren't involved in pedophilia and other illegal business dealings. I'm just saying from what I learned after watching An Open Secret (which I believed 100% at first, but began to question after realizing how heavy the Egan story was pushed - but so many others not even mentioned, like Feldman and Haim), I starting asking around and talking to people involved to try and find out the truth. I didn't find the truth, but I did find out what parts were not true.
Todd - D.E.N. is Digital Entertainment Network which was an online streaming platform in the late 90's (With help from Microsoft and a lot of other interesting investors, including Geffen and Bryan Singer. Kind of an early YouTube/Hulu that was popular and aimed at young people (thus all the teens and teen shows). They tried to go public, then Collins-Rector's sexual assault case forced them to withdraw the IPO. Then they "fled" the country, never to return or pay judgments against them. Marc and Chad are still together. Brock went off and did his own thing in a new industry. Brock was never charged with sexual assault, but was named in the suit against the company as one of the co-founders - he was the young one in touch with the current young people interests, brought in to make sure the shows and format appealed to them. He was just a teen, same as the others.
ReplyDeleteYou're completely delusional .
Delete@pkelly419 gots it methinks
ReplyDeleteThis is Jake T Austin.
The producer is Benny Medina, accused of raping a young male model (i think it was a model?) The director is,Timothy Busfield. The big corporation is Disney, owner of Freeform.
What about Melissa Joan Hart? First show was Clarissa Explains It All, the Second was Sabrina The Teenage Witch.
ReplyDeleteKenneth Koch for the producer (Beauty and The Beast, TJ Hooker)
Henry Winkler directed 2 episodes.
Only problem is, is Benny Medina A+?
ReplyDeleteAgree with Jake T Austin guesses.
ReplyDeleteI just read that Benny Medina was the inspiration for Fresh Prince of Bel Air. No Benny Medina, no Fresh Prince, so Benny Medina is responsible for the 90s. Without Benny Medina, the calendar would have turned from 12-31-1989 to 1-1-2000. Is that A+? I think so.
ReplyDelete@Mark, good points! Plus I didn't realize he was responsible for big music careers as well.
ReplyDeletePlus, Jake T Austin was only on 43 episodes of THE FOSTERS. In addition, I met Jake Austin briefly, and he struck me as having a good head on his shoulders. In addition, I've known Selena Gomez, and she was a really good girl earlier on. In other words, I don't think WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE was a corrupting environment for her.
ReplyDelete@Don Thank you!!!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2012/07/blind-items-revealed_5224.html?m=1
ReplyDeleteThe old Timothy Busfield blind, just to wrap this one up.
AngryLiberal - If you can find any documents showing Brock Pierce is a registered, or even convicted, sexual offender, please post it.
ReplyDeleteUntil then, I'll leave you with a quote from Brock's statement to the Bitcoin Foundation Board when they were considering if he should remain, which he obviously did and helped make a lot of people rich (legally):
"These civil actions arose from my association, at the age of 17, with a tech startup called Digital Entertainment Network, which was founded by a man who was later charged with certain federal offenses that dated back to many years before I joined the company.
Let me emphasize this: Despite a full investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s office, the FBI and the State of California into the allegations, I was never charged with anything whatsoever by anyone and was cleared of any wrongdoing."
Jesus this is depressing.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's some great sleuthing. And Busfield, of course, duh. All makes sense!
ReplyDeleteWhere's Tricia when we need her?
ReplyDeleteThink I am getting neurotic about these powerful nameless individuals who seem to get away with anything. Found myself going through a company supporting a kids club and wondering about the trustees, and donors. Think down this road you could spend years on it. Some boys and girls club in LA. It must be impossibly expensive for any police force to do the research, who is going to fund it? You have to look at the donors which is a huge list, then look at their trustees, donors. Who on earth can get anywhere with this? It has more legs than a millipede.
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying horrible things didn't happen there, just not like Amy Berg tried to make it out. Goddard, I'm sure is guilty - if Egan was one of his victims, I don't know but possible. I'm not saying Egan wasn't a victim of anything-I think he was, just not the claims he made against all of DEN.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm honestly not trying to seem like I'm protecting Pierce, just based on everything I've been told by people actually there during that time he wasn't part of any of that (at least not willingly).
And I am definitely not saying nothing happened at Alphy's or with Alphy Hoffman's friends. That is pretty much well known, but again not as presented in the documentary.
There was undeniably a "pedoring", and likely Marc and Chad, along with Singer, were part of it. And maybe even Geffen.
I'm going with McCurdy. Based on things she's said on her YouTube (some deleted) this fits. She talked about coming clean, starting over, purging herself of the past, etc. Confessions like this fit. She clearly has zero interest in cashing in on her childhood fame and is doing serious dramatic stuff (that series with the dead adults) and independent comedy, all firmly adult in nature, when she could easily be doing exploitative fluff based on her looks and her child star status.
ReplyDeleteA+ List Former Tweener : Miley Cyrus
ReplyDeleteA+ List Producer of Show already Exposed with Support of Two Major Female Celebs: Woody Allen
(The two women are Scarlett Johnhanssen and Diane Keaton)
Show she did before that was a huge hit: Hannah Montanna
????
Miley was never on a second show though.
ReplyDeleteHaven't we all agreed that this is Jake T. Austin/The Fosters? Why are random clearly incorrect guesses still being thrown out?
Anyone maybe can look up who's ever directed 7th heaven? The dads been outed, and Jessica biel was kinda fired
ReplyDelete
