Blind Item #5 - Now I Believe

This A- list tween actress is just now really a tween. She has been acting for many years already and says she never believed the stories she heard about kids being molested on set. It had never happened to her. In the past year though, she said that since she has been working so long, her parents don't always stay on set any longer. Plus, she is getting older. Apparently that combination led to her being cornered in places alone with her bosses. They are writing her sexier scenes and making her perform the scenes in front of them. She says that not a day goes by where she is not touched or groped by her bosses and feels like it is a matter of time before things get worse. She says her new venture is worse because she is almost always one on one with a producer or director and no other cast around to help her.

  5. Kiernan, then ask your parents for help, for heaven's sake!

  6. Since it says she's just now a tween, I'll say McKenna Grace...she's 11 and has a pretty impressive list of roles.

  7. (And I hope whoever this is stays safe.)

  8. Kiernan is 18 not "just now" a tween. Unless Entern meant to say she's just now legal.

  9. I'd be especially appalled if it was McKenna. Kiefer Sutherland is an executive producer on Designated Survivor and I would think he would look out for her. She doesn't have that many scenes on the show, though, so if it's her, I doubt it is that show.

Kiernan is no longer a tween. She is 18 years old.

  10. So when do the criminal prosecutions start in all this?

  11. If you can identify a problem you can work to solve the problem.
Whoever this is needs to take that "it's just a matter of time before it gets worse" and be prepared. GoPro mounted on her head? Mace? Shoe to the groin? Whatev. But fix it,ffs

  12. I don't get how her parents can let their child go to these production sites alone, especially in this climate. I'd feel guilty if I left my child alone or not be in proximity with so much knowledge of producers and directors abusing actors.

  13. Has to be MBB. Godzilla's in Post so I'm sure she's alone for voiceovers.

I heard her agent on the radio. She's a gold mine for him. He sounds like he's from the midwest.

And what sexy scenes do you think they added to Godzilla with a 13 year old girl, hmmm? You think it's MBB because she's the only actress in that age range you know of. IMDB shows 280 actors and actresses that are 13. Pick one.

    Clues:

    Been working for years
    A-
Works on something that has new scenes written - ie. TV
    New Venture

  15. @SupraFresh -The parents leave set because they are pimping the child for money. They know what time it is.

Whoever this is may not know whom to trust, may not know whom to report this to. This person may be the family meal ticket and fears their career will be over once the reports get out. We know Hollywood is corrupt. This person should get some spy gear so they can have video and audio recordings. I pray the assaults do not get worse. I pray people with power to do something come to CDaN and do something. Based on what has been happening over the years I believe these prayers are being answered.

  16. God damn it, this is Millie Bobby Brown isn’t it? Ugh. Sexier scenes? Please don’t! I really don’t want to think the Duffer Brothers are capable of this.

Director of Godzilla 2 is Michael Dougherty of X-Men 2 fame with connections to Bryan Singer with his film Trick r Treat:

  17. I don't follow kids shows, but I do watch Stranger Things and I don't think MBB fits this profile, though her parents are surely terrible and I fear for her well being.

The Keifer Sutherland reference creeps me out, because he often seems to work with people who have a high level of suspect rumors and behavior themselves, and he comes from an acting family, which is always a red alert sign (though not guaranteed).

  18. McKenna Grace has been "acting for many years" and is technically a tween at age 11. Milly is not a tween, she's 13, which makes her a teenager. She hasn't been acting for "many" years. And McKenna is in a new Spielberg movie. Just saying.

  19. She should ask her parents to stay on set with her. If they refuse, they're the problem.

  20. Something animated would make sense for the "new venture" since the actor would be working one-on-one.

I'm not sure what McKenna is doing in Ready Player One, but there is a game world avatar element that could be voiceover work.

    Millie turns 14 this month.

  22. You know, I've always wondered what kind of parents can let this happen to their kids because if this was my kid, I wouldn't leave their side for a minute. Then I read the article on Danielle Cohn this past week on Buzzfeed. This girl is 13 and became famous on an app called musical.ly, lip synching to song snippets Her mother is 34 and was able to quit her 2 jobs to become a "Momager" because this little girl is making so much money. She moved her whole family to L.A. so Danielle could become famous. She allows her to date a 17 year old boy (whom she also manages) and make sexier and more suggestive videos now because they bring in more money. Reading the article made me sick because it reminded me so much of the stories I read here about child actors/actresses. And it shed light on what kind of human being allows their child to be sucked into this world. Truly heartbreaking.

  23. "So when do the criminal prosecutions start in all this?"

When enough victims turn in the perpetrators rather than accepting a pay off.

  24. TELL YOUR PARENTS!! DON'T BE ALONE ON SET!!

  25. Why should this child live in fear of being preyed on by pedophiles? She's obviously speaking out to someone, I just hope a decent adult gets the message. Reading that blind, she almost sounds resigned to the inevitability of being abused.

  26. how about Elle Fanning?

  27. Not sure who this is, but the only reason this problem exists anywhere is because so many stage parents are irresponsible, greedy, social-climbing cretins that willingly sacrifice their children to the Hollywood morass. The kids often don't complain to the parents because the parents are part of the problem.

  28. Elle Fanning is 19.

  29. So where are her parents?

  30. If this is McKenna Grace that'd be a shame.

It is crazy how much she looks like Kiernan Shipka.

  32. Ella Anderson? She is only 12, but has a long resume, including tween shows. She is now voicing for the animated Henry Danger, so she may be doing the voiceovers at a different time than her other cast mates.

  33. Saw Gifted last weekend. Knew Mckenna looked so familiar so I googled her. Shocked at how many roles she's done since kindergarten and she's only 11 1/2. There's A listers without a resume that long. When does she ever rest? Next thing came to mind was all the CDaN items about Hollywood predators and hoping she wasnt being victimized. She appears to be such a pretty, sweet, brilliantly talented child. Then exactly one week later this BI appears. IF this is MG someone needs to be appointed a fulltime guardian over her if her parents won't do it. And I hope the predators get publicly busted and arrested, no matter who they are.

  34. Tell someone!! I waited 50 years to finally tell someone what happened to me. I wish I had been brave and told someone long ago so I would not carry the guilt around for 50 years. Feeling awful, feeling bad about myself. No more. She has to tell someone.

  35. I think @C C got it with Ella Anderson.
The Harvey Danger stuff is Dan Schneider. This is so his M.O.
Makes sense that she felt safe before at Nick. That's what grooming is all about.

  36. What does this mean: "This...tween actress is just now really a tween" ? Just now usually means only recently. Tweens are 10-12 years old. What does the blind mean by "really"? That the actress has been mistaken for a tween while she was younger than 10? Or is it a typo that should say "just now really a teen"?

  37. Who is she saying this to?

  39. @Doug,
It means she has done several tween-themed projects from a very young age, but she is only now tween age. (Not necessarily mistaken for a tween before, maybe just played "little sister" type roles.
Such as Ella Anderson, who has multiple Nick projects, but is only 12. And now that she is a tween, she's being sexualuzed.

  40. Ella Anderson is a good possible guess. Schneider is a creep. Still my number 1 target so I may be biased here. But the "new venture" could be the Henry Danger animated spin off. She is voicing her character on there and who knows where the voice acting happens and under what supervision. Plus if she's doing both shows it would explain the "working more" and the parents not being around. Good guess.
