BREAKING NEWS
There's been a horrible explosion at a cheese factory outside Paris.
De-brie everywhere.
Special
Laff
Mount Deception.
Not laughing at the Special Olympics is the best test of whether you're going to hell or not.
Nope and everybody in NYC begs the government to drop their offer every, single time NY places the city in the running for one. Too bad LA lives for that shit every decade or so. Let them keep it for good or some disease infested third world country looking for a tourism boost.
Nope. My brother, who works in news media, did cover the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 when that nail bomb went off though.
Yes, I watched Jesse Owens win gold in front of Hitler and it was fantastic
Special Olympics when they were held at Notre Dame.
Billy graham was a pedophile cocksucker who will roast in hell
Yep, carried the torch once briefly as well.
Yes
Hehehe
Yes. London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.
LA has the right kind of infrastructure for it. I’m already planning not to be here for it tho.
I try not to put myself in the same location as major sporting events as a rule.
Vancouver 2010. I saw Alex Bilodeau win the first Gold on Canadian soil.
I haven't felt an energy like that before or since.
Atlanta 1996 I think
What the fuck are you talking about. I was there when Prince opened the SO back in 1991. Now you do know Prince and what he sings about. Those kids were blank faced as he sang “cream” and I was laughing my ass off at the incongruity. See the diff.
In 1984, when LA had the summer Olympics, I almost went.
But, after finding out about the ticket prices, I knew I couldn't afford to go.
Oh, well.
Besides, I had a better view from my studio apartment couch/bed!
=)
Beer was cheaper, too!
(Ended up watching the Closing Ceremony with my next door neighbor/future wife and her roommate!)
Good Times!
Vancouver 2010
🙌🤣
Nah, no interest there. Looking forward to it all being over though. Canada's third in the medal count though - I do like that!
Los Angeles and Atlanta. I’m kicking myself for not going to London or Vancouver.
Volunteered at the Atlanta Paralympics. The athletes were amazing.
No. I'd rather the World Cup. ⚽️
I've been to a national football teams' match before but it was a friendly.
💛
God no, i can be bored and comfortable at home.
2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Had a blast!
