Could it be a former Ms USA from Kansas University. Ms USA is an annual pageant right? And that's a KU slogan...
I’m so damn old that you’ll have to bear with me on this, because I can’t remember the names: remember that Miss USA gal who was dating a college football player, and creepy old Brent Musburger was leering at her in the stands? Is this about her? Did she get a reality show? Did she end up marrying the football player? I’m off to the google to see if I can’t figure this out.
Also: I like watching Kansas play, but that damn incessant chant they’ve got going at all times throughout the games is driving. Me. Crazy.
I get what you mean. I googled this but nothing turned up. I was hoping someone a bit more local could help up
No Frufra no one has a clue what you're talking about. Did this happen in the 1930's? Was this some flapper girl you banged before you went off to fight the Japs??? I'm all for obscure blinds but this is ridiculous. Whoever this is doesn't even get a rating, we're below D-list meth whore reality stars.
Frufra: I think you’re talking about Alabama QB AJ McCarron and his model girlfriend. They did get married and as far as I know still are. No reality TV shows or antying that I’m aware of. He was a back up with the Cincy Bengals and just signed with the Buffalo Bils, where he’ll be the starter next season.
Her name is Katherine Webb. And after reading her wiki, I don’t think this is her. She did marry AJ McCarron, and had a child with him, and hasn’t done anything of note professionally since 2013. But I stand by my assessment of Brent Musburger as a lecherous old man, and I continue to be thankful he has retired.
Yup. Thanks! Good gravy, remembering names is my fatal flaw, and it’s sadly getting worse the older I get. I’m going to try and get a name tag policy instated in society at large, a la Kramer 😉.
Katherine Webb was Auburn (AL) and her now husband AJ McCarron was Alabama. He just signed with Buffalo. Not her. But I have no clue on this one.
native kansan. that chant you find so irritating is sacred at KU. i imagine whatever school you follow has a chant too, no?
and KU is certainly not a one season wonder. they've been in the top tier for a long time, won the tourney in 2008.
That cash me ousside girl?
In 1886 an Chemistry professor was discussing with other teachers a need for a 'rousing yell'. They started with 'Rah Rah Jayhawk Go KU' 3 times in a row. In 1889 they changed it to 'Rock Chalk' as the university sits on Chalk Rock (a type of limestone)
@Temi
I think it could fit.
She's a pageant winner.
She is on a reality show (Model Squad).
She is rumoured to have broken up with her celebrity boyfriend.

I was watching that game and was just appalled at how creepy he was!
Robot!!!!! He is a grade A dirty old man, isn’t he? Super gross.
I totally get the tradition, and I like Kansas. But I find the chant annoying. As do I find the tomahawk chop Atlanta Braves bit super annoying. What can I say? I’m 46 years old and cranky! That’s why I stay home and watch the game on TV and complain to my equally cranky husband. It’s a perfect system!!
@tami. Olivia likes to yatch....could this be the reason why they broke up?
Rock out with your hawk out.
Let Kansas have their chant.
We need them to kick Duke's ass and make them cry.
Too many Oiivias to keep track of. :)
