You should be thankful she's a drunk you prick, the only way she would want to screw you.
I saw Mother knowing nothing about it going in. For the first 40 minutes I honestly thought it was about a developmentally handicapped woman.
Wholly accidental I’m sure
Hahaha, Bobious, I want to see it now.
I want to see it now too. Checking to see if it's OnDemand...
I don't think JLaw being sober would have saved that horrible movie. Maybe if I had been drunk while watching it.
Her drinking?
What about her botoxed face or her lack of acting skills??
I still remember JOAN RIVERS screaming "how she got her career" ...
SUCKING CXXCK!!!
R.I.P Joan ...
I really liked mother! And thought it worked really well in the cinema (good sound needed)... Surprised it was such a bomb, and think very few folk will watch /enjoy it at home because it needs that surround sound thing.
Ah well.
Now Noah....what the hell was that.
How about the fucking movie had all but zero story line? The dialogue was flat and utterly pointless. And it was just a bunch of random bunch of shit thrown together to assault your senses! Bah! Yes I'm still bitter.
The last 15 minutes of "Mother" was just about the hardest moviegoing experience of my life, usually I would walk out at that sort of thing, but I really wanted to see what the payoff was going to be. In the end, I hated that movie with the force of 1000 suns, but it was a work of genius. JLaw was great in it, I thought she looked radiant in spots.
DA's such a pretentious, faux intellectual douchebag.
JLAW’s acting sucked in Mother. And I’m not a hater. I think she’s a talented actress but her range is overrated. She didn’t embody the quiet nature of her character. It looked like JLAW trying to act innocent. Then there’s Natalie Portman who also did the light innocent voice and character as Nina in Black Swan and it was extremely authentic. JLAW also made her character a caricature in American Hustle. I think Mother failing had to do with JLAW’s star turning to turn the tides and the fact that it got terrible reviews. Darren needs to stop acting like he wrote some sort of masterpiece.
He should blame that she is not a talented actress and has no real draw to theaters
There are many Jennifer Lawrence movies where I thought that they would have been better with a different actress. Mother! was one of them.
She'd have to be drunk to agree to do that POS and have sex with him.
As someone who loves mind-bender movies and thrillers I have to admit: Mother was a BIG disaster! Mess. How the man who created The Black Swan could come up with such a disappointment?
If I were Jennifer I'd drink too. How else she could get through the process?
Hate to break it for Arafnovsky but it was his movie and his mess.
@ Penelope
+1
Cute little moustache, Darren.
I had a friend who took her daughter to see Mother because the daughter is a J L fan. She said it was a series of thinking, “Should we go? Have we had enough?” They stayed for the whole thing but hated it.
I saw it on the airplane. Fast forwarded, and asked the flight attendant for MORE WINE!
Obviously her drinking is a problem she dated him ..yuk
I didn't hate this movie BECAUSE of Jennifer Lawrence. Had it been another actress I doubt I'd have stayed with it to the end. It was deeply disturbing, which is totally on him.
Hopefully she was in a blackout the whole time :^)
This movie blew kurds. My husband and I watched it and towards the end looked at each other with WTF?!!s looks on our faces. Not a good movie at all. It started off well. It was very interesting but just went to crazytown in 0 to 100.
I think we have to blame The Fappening for letting 'Little Darren' do Darren's thinking for him.
