Blind Item #1
I wrote about this foreign born A list singer last week. Things have taken a turn for the worse this week. He never eats and only focuses on using as much as possible. He is basically a walking skeleton right now and needs some professional help.
Bieber
ReplyDeleteZayn?
ReplyDeleteGotta be Zayn
ReplyDeleteIt Zayn
ReplyDeleteIn'sha'allah
ReplyDeleteI'm shitting on allah
DeleteZayn urgh... so much for planning a tour. A shame really cause he has a nice voice
ReplyDeleteYep...it's Zayn.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteIt's an illness. Where's the intervention? If it were Harry Styles, someone would be dragging him up the hospital steps. Why not Zayn?
Probably molested by some BBC nonce
DeleteEnty wrote about Zayn this past week
ReplyDeleteZayn is not white and I think Harry Stiles is more popular. I think Zayn has the better voice.
ReplyDeleteI swear, everyone in show business has been groped, molested, and/or raped.
Harry is the most popular and along with louis is the most annoying voice (no need to quote liam because he does not even sing)
Delete@Danillo Muller
DeleteThanks!
If it is Zayn, his manager who ended up quitting tried everything to get him help. It took a toll on her and her other clients. She tried for a long time to help him get better but he seems to have a death wish. The only person who can help Zayn now is Zayn.
ReplyDeleteYep. Many times people have tried to help and were rebuffed. Sometimes help can even be enabling, and the people who care most about the person have to withdraw from the person as a last-ditch attempt to wake him up.
DeleteThis is what I was about to comment. Well done.
DeleteI hope someone cares enough about him, to intervene before it's too late. I do believe Gigi did do drugs with him, but not the hardcore stuff like H, so she ditched him and came up with the "hashimoto" disease excuse before she could publicly be called a user and F her brand up!
ReplyDeleteWhere is his family? No one can force someone into rehab, and it would be impossible for an adult to be committed without being in immediate danger. Even then, they would be released if they wanted to be.
ReplyDeleteThey are probably benefitting from him financially so they keep their mouths shut.
DeleteWhen an addict gets to this point, shouldn't forced hospitalization be legal everywhere? They ARE at risk and are actively harming themselves, even if they're not making suicidal threats.
ReplyDeleteAnd who’s going to pay for it? What happens when the addict just leaves and gets back to the same place? I’m for publicly funded detox and rehab programs, but if the addict doesn’t go and want to recover willingly, it’s not going to last, if it happens at all.
DeleteUgh, really wouldn't shed a tear if he died, but some seem to care, there is one more option. Get him busted for possession and whatever, it's not like he isn't breaking the law. Not report him, get him. Rinse and repeat until he gets some sober time one way or another. Probably better to leave him be though, might get a good album out of him.
ReplyDelete@Brayson87, he's got an album coming out in a couple of months. Let's hope it's not a posthumous album.
ReplyDeleteI actually hoped the death of Avacii might have woken him up, but apparently not.
@TW @Mercyprosperity, people have been trying to help Zayn since late 2014, when his eating disorder became acute and he started suddenly skipping appearances. By early 2015, he was standing at the back of the stage in concerts, skipping lines, and sometimes simply walking off the stage in the middle of a song. People have been trying to help him ever since - including a lot of white people, like his bandmate Louis Tomlinson and his manager Sarah Stennett - despite the fact he repeatedly lets people down, including POC like Tyler the Creator and Kehlani. I know you like to see racism everywhere, but this is not a good example. Zayn is making his own bad choices.
Exactly. And in spite of the story the universe has been sold, he did not leave One Direction by choice.
DeleteI don't want to go to rehab, I said no, no, no. RIP Amy
ReplyDeletePopular in relative terms, none of them are approaching, george michael, timberlake or even bieber/mendes levels of success. Considering the millions spent on the solo career's, a re-union is not far away.
ReplyDeleteI don't know that anyone is benefitting from Zayn financially right now.
ReplyDeleteThese days the money in the music business comes from sponsorships and touring. Zayn can't do much of either.
Harry and Niall are both touring now; arenas for Harry, large nightclubs for Niall. Very profitable. Louis and Liam are releasing singles with various degrees of success and playing at festivals. Mildly profitable.
Zayn, meanwhile, is putting out some very good singles with expensive videos and then not supporting them with promo or live appearances. This costs money but doesn't earn it back. He can afford it, but he's certainly not making anyone rich.
I was thinking more from his 1D money though I imagine that will dry up soon enough.
DeleteSorry, I should add merchandise as an income generator as well. Harry and Niall have a large selection. Louis has nothing, to my knowledge. Not sure about Liam.
ReplyDeleteZayn had a collection with Versus Versace which - surprise surprise - he did not do much to support. I think the initial collection sold out, but I have no idea how much actual merchandise was moved, and there has not been a follow-up.
Can we all just go find him and get him help lol
ReplyDeleteSad but at some point, he has to hit his rock bottom. My daughter used to be quite the one directioner and I always thought out of all of them he was the standout in terms of talent, bankable career.
ReplyDelete@Urban Chaos
ReplyDeleteZayn does have a great voice and is good-looking when he's healthy.
But, as Avicii's family said, "he was not made for the business machine."
Do you reminder he was bi sexual? Poor little guy. I understand he has depression and anxiety. Sounds more misdiagnosed
ReplyDeleteHe’s self medicating with drugs. Probably started with weed and grew from there.
DeletePlay stupid games, win stupid prizes
ReplyDeletewill he join the 27 club or he wont make it to 27?
ReplyDeleteSad to see someone’s potential death discussed in such dismissive tones :( He’s probably one of the most talented 1Ders and he’s so young with so much ahead of him. I quite like his new song (except for the first line...)
ReplyDeleteAll lives are precious, who gives a sh!t if he's talented. People are watching their children die right now because they don't have enough food or clean water. I'm not going to shed a tear if this guy wants to take happy drugs to death when people have tried to help him.
ReplyDeleteZayn has turned away help every time it's been offered. He has so much potential. He had a great look (I'm English and I don't know anyone who thinks Harry is better looking - that seems to be an American tween thing), he has a gorgeous voice and he has talent. Unfortunately his addiction overshadows everything else. If we trust Enty's previous blinds about him OD-ing and not stopping, then I doubt that there's anything that will make him quit. He's too far gone.
ReplyDeleteWhere’s his family? He is (was?) super close to her mom. He used to be my crush. And if someone would ask me my type of guy, physically, that’d be like him before he messed up his body. Damn he was so fucking handsome!! He was perfect in Night changes.
ReplyDelete@Nutty_Flavor:
ReplyDeleteDo you take every conversation, and turn it into a Color conversation
Would Harry Styles get more personalized attention in a health crisis? Probably.
Is it because someone cares... or because he is a big cash maker for Sony? maybe both.
It is not due to his race.
Please don't attempt to flip flop my comment into some kind of race statement. I don't play that way; that's not my game, maybe it's yours.
It's Trump
ReplyDelete@Mercyprosperity, you might have noticed that I also referenced @TW in my comment. @TW specifically said Zayn was getting less attention and care because he was "not white." You specifically suggested he was not getting as much care because he was not Harry Styles, who is.
ReplyDeleteHarry Styles would get more attention in a health crisis because he has spent the last 8 years building bridges in the music business instead of burning them.
He's polite, kind, and shows up for his commitments. He hasn't sold as much recorded music as Zayn, but he plays live to large audiences all over the world, which generates cash for everyone including himself.
You seem tense. Something to hide?
@Nutty Flavor
ReplyDeleteHi!
I do not follow boy bands. I'm not a teenager.
Well, for all I know people did drive Zayn to rehab but he chose not to go. I was replying to someone else & didn't make clear what I was responding to.
The point I was attempting to make was white people tend to get more press, whether it be positive or negative.
I also notice people mispronounce Zayn's name. If he doesn't correct people then that's on him.
People misspell Rhianna's name as "Rhianna." She corrected people back in the day, I don't know about now.
Long story short, unless someone is injecting Zayn and doing other things to him against his will then the only person who can help Zayn is Zayn.
I agree with you, TW. It’s a sad story, but only Zayn can change the ending at this point. It’s very hard for families to insist on help for wealthy adult children, as Justin Bieber’s family and Selena Gomez’s family probably also have experienced. But hey, Slash from GNR was pretty far gone at one point, and he ultimately survived and thrived. Hoping for the best for Zayn.
DeleteGood.
ReplyDeleteI've got him on my Death Pool - worth 5 points
Bye, bye, Paki...
