Since this isn't gender specific and the use of the blue dress can be a swerve, I'll say Travolta stained someone's massage shorts and $cio.
I bet you are right, @sandybrook. I'm skimming multiple articles about Travolta and massage "issues" dating from 2012. I had forgotten about that.
I was thinking the same way, so I’ll say Spacey.
I bet he's averaging at least one accusation\year
Makes sense, sandybrook. Travolta has been sued by a couple of his masseurs for sexual assault.
Although I think he’s now referred to as “disgraced”, so probably not.
@Dena, my first thought was Spacey and then I thought the same thing "disgraced".
Right now I am listening to Jack U Off by Prince, true story. RIP Prince ☔️
I think I might hate the word "semen" the way most people dislike the word "moist"
Travolta loves his happy endings!!!
"And his group" = Travolta and Scio
Tom will definitely use the evidence in order to he the supreme leader of the Cult! I guess Jt and TC have a rivalry and John was upset about some award Cruise received. This will be really interesting.
Please God. Make this happen!
Cruise?
Wouldn’t it mention “cult” if it was anyone from Scio? My first thought was James Franco and pals but I don’t think he’s permanent A.
leonardo and the pu$$y posse or whatever its called.
Why would there be a lawsuit against $cientology if Travolta harrassed/assaulted a guy? Is this referring to some kind of systematic abuse in that cult (I don't know much about $cientology tbh)? Or was $cio involved in covering up things that Travolta did?
I was also reading it as 'his group' being a group of colleagues and/or friends that witnessed or took part in the assault (gang rape??). First person to spring to mind was DiCaprio with this posse, although that would break my heart.
Still trying to make sense of 'I guess it is almost a revised lawsuit'. I just looked up what a revised lawsuit is, and apparently it means that a lawsuit is refiled after being dismissed. So has a lawsuit already been filed against that actor or not?
Travvie very likely, but perhaps also Cruise? There must be a lawsuit around somewhere with his name on it.
+1 The masseuse is on twitter and he says he has been followed and he suspects it is by scientologists because he spoke out.
Well, folks, it’s been a big week in gay news. On the good side, President Barack Obama came out in support of same-sex marriage and Anjelica Huston sang on Smash. On the other, the press has been all abuzz over the lawsuit recently slapped on John Travolta by a masseur claiming the star attempted to coerce him into unwanted sexual acts during a session at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Two steps forward, one step back. That’s progress, I guess.
Of all the tabloid press coverage on Massage-gate, there are two details that, er, popped up at me. One is the employment of positively J.K. Rowling-esque adjectives regarding the area in question: “solid eight inches … springy” making it sound like Hollywood’s second-most famous Scientologist purchased his, ahem, wand straight from Mr. Ollivander’s. (It chooses the wizard, you know.) The second is the still-unnamed masseur’s assertion of how Travolta explained how he learned to Stop Worrying and Love Transactional Same-Sex Liaisons: By accepting that Hollywood is controlled by “homosexual Jewish men” who expect sexual favors in return for career-related ones.
It may surprise you (although probably not) to hear that I have no quarrel with the airing of the trope that Jews are prominent, even dominant, in the movie industry. The reason for this is that it’s true, and saying it aloud no more makes John Travolta a Jew-hater than asserting that there are a lot of, say, African-American hip-hop artists makes one a racist. It’s not anti-Semitic to make a statement of fact; it’s anti-Semitic to imply that there’s something wrong with it. The real question raised by this statement is the linking of “homosexual,” a descriptor that is relevant to the particulars of the accusation at hand, with “Jewish,” which is not. What, indeed, does one thing have to do with the other? And what does the almost unconscious linking of the two—whether by Travolta or merely by the recollection or fabrication of his anonymous plaintiff—tell us about the nature of prejudice itself?
i was at the Esalen institute in big sur 30 years ago and travolta was already notorious for the massage thing. he had just been there and they were all abuzz.
I met John Travolta several times and spoke with him at length a few times and he was always extremely pleasant, engaging and good company. He never made me feel like he was looking for a reason to move on to someone else, and was able to talk about things other than himself (which isn't very common for some celebrities who reach his level of fame--this would've been late 90s, around Face/Off time).
But of course everyone has different sides.
I wonder if this is Marky Hutt accusing Travolta. Travolta’s lawyers have offered him settlements and hush money for the past couple of years, but Hutt wants justice and the truth made public more than he wants a payday. His twitter feed is interesting. I worry for the guy, Marty Singer plays dirty, he’s been tying him up with legal issues to avoid this from coming to court for as long as possible. Hoping in the meantime that Hutt will be worn down, accept a deal or disappear.
Travolta shot in my town; very nice and polite to literally everyone. Well liked, and I have a positive anecdote I won't bore you with. Let's say he went the extra mile when no one would know about- no industry people or press around at all.
On the other hand, he hit very hard on my friends husband. They both happened to be in the steam room at the local Y. He stared at and then touched the guy unsolicited. The husband didn't recognize JT, and got really pissed with him.
Leter he realized who it was, but didn't go the press or anything. This was before all the massage stories came out (so to speak).
So, apparently a nice, decent guy who can't control his impulses.
@Southern Man no. he can control his impulses, he just doesn't want to.
+1 Travolta and scientology
This screams James Franco to me. "...an actor and his group" Meaning Franco and the acting school.
