Blind Items Revealed #5

That directorial epic of a movie from this A+ list mostly movie actor just gets worse. At this point, it is a jumbled mess with terrible performances and several entire scenes need to be shot again. Very quietly the studio is bringing in other people to slowly push the actor out.

How could it possibly be worse than A Team? You want to talk a disaster.

DeleteI must be one of 10 people on the planet who enjoyed A-Team. It was fun, and based on the source material, I wasn’t going in looking for the next Oscar nominee. Just a silly brainless slightly goofy good time with nostalgic in jokes.
I wasn’t going to pay for it at a theater. I saw it on free TV when it was randomly playing and I liked it too. I loved that some of the original characters showed up in cameos.
DeleteGag Gag's time is nigh. Lina Morgana will someday be vindicated.
ReplyDeleteA blind hooker could see this coming.
ReplyDelete@Normal, I had almost erased A-Team from my brain.
ReplyDeleteAttending rituals and ceremonies, does not equal "Talent". It just means that she sold her soul. Period.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't see it if you paid me.
Lina Morgana had so much promise.
ReplyDeleteHow many times do they have to re-make the same movie?
ReplyDeleteI wonder if William Belli and Shangela will still be in the film after the next round of edits. RuPaul’s Drag Race fans will be heartbroken if they end up on the cutting room floor.
ReplyDeleteOr perhaps they could edit Shangela out of the movie and edit in Trixie Mattel.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the A-Team movie, it was fun like the tv show was fun.
ReplyDeleteOk I had to Google the Lina Morgana comment. What a tragedy! What a great voice. Why is there nothing about her death? Or a Wikipedia page? How much of a following did she have? Very strange...
ReplyDeleteNOTHING can top Streisand and Kristofferson
ReplyDeleteWhere on this Earth did anyone think repeating this sooooo old trope was worth it? I think the first film version was in the 30's

ReplyDeleteYeah @Toutoo, six screenwriters, sounds like a death knell.
ReplyDeletei thought it was really weird when they moved the date up for this film. now I realize they just want to get over with it since its such crap.
ReplyDeleteI don't know insider info, but the vibes from the photos of Cooper and Ga Ga together were just not right. It looked bad before it even began.
ReplyDeleteWhy anyone would have him act or direct is beyond me. He is just awful
ReplyDeleteWatch the original. Streisand is, as usual, breathtaking; but Kristofferson is the soul.
ReplyDeleteIt is a film about being selfless. It's about helping someone else, when you need help yourself.
Cooper and Ga Ga? smh. I can't even process it.
@mercyprosperity The Streisand film was a remake as well. It may have been made two or three times before with the same or different titles.
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine what poor BC has had to do to get to where he is? Terrifying to contemplate...
ReplyDeleteGod help me but I liked the A-Team film as well, BradCoop's ringtone cracked me up.
ReplyDeletebradley cooper worked with/shook hands with mike tyson but refused to work with mel gibson
ReplyDeletebradley cooper made propaganda and now his movie is a disaster
what goes around comes around
This sounds like a sad ole mess. But I do recall before Wonder Woman came out, enty or intern enty had a blind that it would be a bomb ( all misogynistic male superheroes fanboy nerds had this same panicky reaction on all their little fanboy sites) and then WW kicked all kinda booty at the BO. But I dislike Cooper and his beards/beard baby combo thing so unless gagas hardcore fans come out in force this sounds like a true box office turkey.
ReplyDeleteWrong again, Enty. Saw the movie at TIFF. Was fantastic. And Gaga And Cooper definitely have a close relationship. It showed during the Q&A.
