Four For Friday - Predator High - Old Hollywood - Traditional
One of the actresses that knew all this first hand was this permanent A list mostly movie actress who was a multiple Oscar winner/nominee. One of the first movies that made her famous when she was a teen came as a result of having sex with this permanent A++ list mostly movie actor who was almost four decades older than the actress. He recommended her to his bff the director and she got the job.
This former flash in the pan A list actress who all of you know for one role got that job when she was a teen because two of her classmates said no to sex with the producers and she said yes. She was many years from being legal.
This former A list mostly television actress blames her time there and being the sex toy for a bunch of degenerate directors and producers for her life long drug problems.
This former A- list mostly movie actress is a celebrity offspring. Even though she didn't get her first film role until she was legal, she was "auditioning" for several years prior to that and apparently her parental unit went on a rampage at a studio when she found out the offspring had been with three men at once and didn't get cast in the role.

Was this the basis for the Fame tv show?
Something tells me the first actress is Elizabeth Taylor, but that's all I've got.
Perm A-Judy Garland?
Might the last pair be Liza/Judy?
Flash in the pan Maureen McCormick or Linda Blair?
Judy Garland for the teen with the A++ list actor being Clark Gable. Wasn't he best friends with Victor Fleming, director of Wizard of Oz?
Def Judy Garland and Wizard of Oz for the movie.
Didn't Shirley Temple say she was up for the role of Dorothy, until she turned down one of the producers?
Drug addict--Lisa Bonet?
Clark Gable wasn't four decades older than Garland.
Could this be referring to The Hollywood School for Girls as the source of all the girls referenced in the blind?
Could this be the Mary McDonald School for MGM's young stars?
"In 1932, a schoolteacher named Mary MacDonald was hired by MGM to teach French to a young actress named Jean Parker, who was about to be loaned out to RKO to star alongside Katharine Hepburn in Little Women. Louis B. Mayer was so impressed with her work that in 1935, he created a position for her as the teacher in residence, presiding over a two-room schoolhouse on the lot."

Could also be the Hollywood Professional School. I'm going with Melanie Griffith for girl who was with 3 men.
Valerie Bertinelli for the A-list, mostly television actress with the drug problems.
Elizabeth Taylor and Judy Garland the middle one could be anyone first one came to mind was Buffy from Family Affair
Taylor and Garland both graduated from University High School in Hollywood.
Not sure Taylor and Garland are going to work. I can’t find anyone else on the University HS list of notable alumni that matches the other clues. No one even comes close.
I was thinking Kim Richards for the drug addict.
Jodie Foster with DeNiro and Scorscese(Taxi Driver)
Former À lait Actress who said yes:Brooke shield for Blue Lagoon
Jodie was in Bugsy Malone and was really young. Tom Sawyer she was a kid too. I thought if her too @ French girl!!
Good article. It fits
This seems to fit for the school
"Hollywood Professional School" (aka "Hollywood Conservatory of Music and Arts")
Opened 1935, closed 1984
Many people mentioned in posts are listed as alumni, including:
Judy Garland
Melanie Griffith
Valerie Bertinelli (and Mackenzie Phillips)

@sandybrook:
Flash in the pan could be Linda Blair or Maureen McCormick -they both attended that same school!
I was thinking Loretta Young.
Judy Garland doesn't fit as the first one - she never won an Oscar. I like the Elizabeth Taylor guess for that one, but not sure who the permanent A++ actor was that was 40 yrs older than her at the time?
@darthripley-
in enty-speak a "multiple Oscar winner/nominee" means winner or nominee or both. All that is needed for this one is more than 1 nomination. Judy had 2.
Thanks Sher, makes sense. I've only been reading here for a few months.
I'd like to think Judy Garland or Natalie Wood but they don't seem to check all the boxes.
Mackenzie Phillips for the TV actress?
Melanie Griffith for the A- celeb offspring?
Tuesday Weld
Slightly off topic, this just in: http://deadline.com/2018/04/tyler-grasham-sex-crime-allegation-district-attorney-investigation-lapd-1202378467/
Tyler Grasham is going down.
If it is Judy (b. 1922), then the A++ permanant actors I can find could be:
Douglas Fairbanks (1883) - def. A++ - there are photos of him with Judy so he did know her.
or
John Barrymore, (1882) - He was at MGM at the time and having a brief "star" comeback from his alcoholism, before he succumbed to it again. (though he is a few months more than "4 decades older")
@Kate K
I know very little about Loretta Young. I do know she was a child star and supposedly gave birth to Clark Gable's baby.
Some article claims she was date raped.

@darthripley
Judy does/did have an Oscar. She was given the Academy Juvenile Award in 1840.
1940, not 1840.
1 win 1940 - Academy Juvenile Award
1955 best actress nominee - A Star Is Born
1962 best supporting actress nominee - Judgement At Nuremberg
I don't think Valerie Bertinelli had/has "lifelong drug problems." Mackenzie Phillips, though - obviously, yes.
Lauren Bacall and Kate Hudson/Goldie Hawn came to mind
Hollywood Professional School
Yes Shirley temple was up for the role
Good riddance!!!
Thanks for posting!
I don't think Mackenzie Phillips can pin her problems on just the school. Her piece of shit father (gives Ryan O'Neal a run for his money) played a big role.
Gotta be someone else, she's low hanging fruit, almost too low.
To be different - Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher.
Ryan is god awful, but John Phillips definitely beat him in the race to the bottom. Tatum just admitted Ryan hit on her, Mackenzie claims John turned her into a sister-wife in addition to feeding her cocaine habit.
If you can track it down--not easy--the first solo album from John Phillips after the Mamas and Papas fell apart was called "John, the Wolf King of L.A.," and it's very....insightful, let's say.
It cant be Liz Taylor her breakthrough starring role was when she was 12, National Velvet, she was not a teen yet.
This former A list mostly television actress blames her time there and being the sex toy for a bunch of degenerate directors and producers for her life long drug problems.
Lauren Chapin of Father Knows Best. Had a long history with drugs and suicide attempts. Went to that school.
This former flash in the pan A list actress who all of you know for one role got that job when she was a teen
Bonita Granville, starred in a series of Nancy Drew films in the 30s
This former flash in the pan A list actress who all of you know for one role got that job when she was a teen because two of her classmates said no to sex
Could also be Sue Lyon, known for Kubricks Lolita.
Judy Garland and Elizabeth Taylor still have to be A+. I'm sure it happened to them, but I don't think these two fit. Mackenzie Phillips is totally possible. What a sick place Hollyweird is.
Natalie Wood- John Wayne- John Ford -The Searchers
that's a great guess Peach.
@T.W. -- you're right about Judy winning the juvenile Oscar, I always forget about that.
Lana Turner went to Hollywood High. She was supposedly "discovered" at Schwabs Drugstore that is located near the school.
Can't be Liz Taylor or Judy Garland, they were educated by tutors in the studio system.
