Ryan Reynolds?
Ryan Reynolds and his interview about his father.
On a side note, I see he and Blake are still using the 'we dont work at the same time' thing. Too bad that she is reprising shooting her movie in a week and he's supposed to work on Bay's Netflix movie in the summer too...how about that?
And his dad who Blake ""helped him to reconcile with".
Morgan Freeman and his step-granddaughter?
So what's the real story with Ryan/ dad/ Blake?
What happened to the Dad?
Yes, what is the real story then?

Ryan Reynolds. I was just laughing at the headlines because I recall reading blinds from years ago that said he pretty much left his father to die and didn’t care much for him. Here he is again using his fathers passing to gain favor. It’s pathetic. Let’s see if people will speak out
With all due respect, "...the way he treated a family member.."? The issue wasn't how he treated a family member, the issue was the family member and how that family member treated everyone in that family. A far too familiar story. Sounds like life with Dad was like walking through a mine field with just as many causalities and like many people that grow up in that environment, he left at the first opportunity and with no love lost by anybody. His Dad probably spent years giving everyone The Road To Hell excuses - he meant well and did the best he could. If anything it sounds like the family left behind were jealous that he got away.
Counterpoint: Don't judge a family situation unless you've lived it. On a personal note, I have been outrageously emotionally abused by my brother and mother, and then my narcissistic brother went on a smear campaign against me to relatives. I'm sure they buy his bullshit and who knows what they have been told about me. I'm sure some of it is along the same lines, i.e., she's abandoned her aging parents. Nothing could be further from the truth, but I've had to stay away to preserve my sanity and on the advice of two counselors and a priest.
So, to Enty and others: You never know the full story re: Ryan Reynolds, Megan Markle or anyone else. Don't judge. The people you think have been "abandoned" could be totally toxic and what you have been told about personal family dynamics is always very emotionally charged and one-sided.
Malamia, well said, thank you
@Malamia +1
I agree.
+1 Malamia
Nodding yup @Malamia
+1
So he had a bad relationship with his father, his father passed, and now he wants to put a good face on it. People do this all the time. There's a joke that we bury our dead in the ground so it's easier to piss on them, but in reality most people try to move forward and focus on the positive things.
Family is overrated. Friends are better. You get to pick your friends.
Ryan seems alright to me. I've read a few blinds on him being rude on occasion, but I've heard more good about him than bad. Any excuse to dislike him though, I suppose.
I agree with Malamia. Very easy to judge from the outside when you don't know what went on behind closed doors.
Enty's had a hate-on for Ryan as long as I've been here.
Ryan, call Enty!
Hahahahaha
Why do they always launch a fucking smear campaign at the other relatives, tho? I got that too!
My parents invited a cousin of theirs (a distant uncle to me) from my paternal side of the family to live with us in the city so he could find a job here. While he was here he tried to keep insisting to come into my room (really pushy about it too, literally pushing the doors and I’d have to shove him out). I was about 16 and he was a grown man. I placed a paper saying “NO BOYS ALLOWED” and everyone thought it was funny. Years later, I find out he’s been telling the extended family that he returned to the hometown because I was “unwelcoming” and “hostile”. One day while staying over at my maternal grandparents’ house, I snapped and told my parents... Who then acted they didn’t want to hear what he did and then continued to act like nothing happened. The paternal side of the family all still think I’m a bitch and give me the cold shoulder.
On a side note, since her groundbearking attempt to use instagram to promote her latest movie didnt work out as she planned, she is now using ryan and they're exchanging tweets to have people'sttanetion, hoping his 11 million followers will see what happend to emily...pathetic!
A lot of people make a kind of regretful peace with their abusers after they pass.
