Blind Item #5
Reporters are doing their best to next bring down this long time A list mostly movie actor who started off as an A list television actor. He has had multiple allegations thrown on him over the years but has managed to slide his way out of them. Apparently he has almost every one he has ever had sex with or been in a compromising position with sign a NDA. This is making it very tough for reporters to get someone to talk on the record.
John Travolta?
ReplyDeleteAnd dudes,of course
DeleteStamos because every knows about Travolta's locker room misadventures
ReplyDeleteClooney
DeleteDenzel?

ReplyDeleteFreeman started on The Electric Company way back....but he's A+, right?
ReplyDeleteYes, plus Electric Company was not A list.
DeleteHe would have to have been on a bigger show than that. 🤔
Travolta could fit, but I thought he was more permanent A List, plus he doesn't need NDAs to be untouchable.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Enty has always said that Travolta has Scio protection. No need for an NDA.
DeleteAnd, he has accosted and downright abused many a masseuse and bathhouse boys without ndas.
DeleteHell, I'd tell friends/family prior to signing said agreement. One can't "untell" FFS.
ReplyDeleteThen, let them talk as they didn't sign an NDA.....
Can I donate?
ReplyDeleteLeo
ReplyDeleteClooney
ReplyDeleteEddie Murphy

ReplyDeleteTravolta didn't start of as an A list TV actor. He was in a sitcom for a couple of years before he hit it big in film, but TV isn't what made him an A lister. This bl fits Clooney for sure, but he's always been a protected species, I doubt 'the press' would be going after him in a serious way. AnywayI think this is Johnny Depp, he's been a marked man for a while.
ReplyDeleteTom Hanks.
ReplyDelete(Not really, but I just wanted an excuse to mention Bosom Buddies)
There was a hit piece on MSN.com about Travlolta this morning basically outing him as gay.
ReplyDeleteThe sitcom Travolta did was Welcome Back Kotter and it was a huuuge hit. I'm old enough to remember when it was on. It lost its mo after season two, but when it started out with a bang. Travolta was the breakout star of the show.
ReplyDeleteThere's pieces every other week about Travolta's 3AM gym visits and his one on one massages with 20 year old toned masseurs. The media aren't really interested in gay themed #metoo stories. OK they don't completely ignore it like they do pedophilia in Hollywood, but gay couching and harassment doesn't feed into the wider narrative they're pushing so it's mostly brushed away as being irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteJohnny Depp is the only one I can think of that fits this blind. He became a big TV star with 21 Jump St, and his profile actually went down when he went into film because of the types of roles he took. More relevant is that he's a straight white male. The pound me too movement has exposed a group of predators that are overwhelmingly Jewish, which although not spoken about in the media is being noticed by the public. Nailing Depp to the cross will help correct that imbalance.
The only reason I don't think it's Clooney is that in the 90s he was A+, maybe even A++ on TV. There was no bigger TV star for several years. He was the top of the top.
ReplyDeleteHis movie career is floundering now, but if he came back to TV, he could easily be on top again. Honestly I think it's the only way to save it.
But I digress.
Anyway, Enty didn't say married. Sometimes he leaves that out, but maybe in this case he really means the guy isn't married. That would rule out a lot of guesses here...
Remember that story of clooney giving his pals a stack load of cash from his drinks company as a thank you for being loyal? making that public was sending a message.
ReplyDeleteOh for sure. He's definitely suspect, but I doubt any reporters are wasting their time on him right now. But I could be wrong.
DeleteWhat's going on with James Franco? I guess he's off the hook?
ReplyDelete"Compromising position" is a clue here. Who has been papped not technically having sex, but someplace maybe they shouldn't be?
ReplyDeleteWalking out of a hotel room or cruise park, or with a hooker in a car...
I'll believe "reporters are trying their best" when we see actual results. Try harder.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Steve Carell? The use of the word "slide" makes me think Travolta and slippery happy endings. Will Smith?
ReplyDelete"His movie career is floundering now,"
ReplyDeleteThe word is "foundering" not "floundering".
Why would Clooney care how his movie career is going? His tequila company sold recently for a billion smackers.
He can be a gentleman actor now, acting only when he feels like it. The mad scramble for roles and producing credits is done. Lucky man.
When’s his tequila company sale going to be investigated? Same with the sudden sale of the Casamigos compound in Mexico...just to buy together in NYC yet Amal stayed in an illegal SoHo rental?
DeleteNever said he cared about his movie career. Merely making a point about his star power as a TV actor.
Delete@plot once again you show your egotistical ignorance... flounder was used correctly.
DeleteIf you are going to be spelling/grammar police at least have two brain cells to rub together to get a spark
"To flounder is to struggle, but to founder is to sink like a stone and fail. "
James Caan is on TMZ complaining about how men can't hot on women anymore. I believe that it is here that i read how Caan was another Cosby during the 1970's, with the Valiums and the sexual assaults. It's just that the shoe hasn't dropped on him.....yet.
ReplyDeleteReporters, have at him.
http://www.tmz.com/2018/05/25/james-caan-morgan-freeman-sexual-misconduct-men-women/
@ plot Floundering can be the correct word too. Foundering would mean his movie career is over, done for. Floundering would mean that his career is struggling but there is still hope. Feel free to Google away about it.
ReplyDeleteI'm taking a flyer on Pirece Brosnan even though it doesn't say foreign born
ReplyDeleteGood one, sandy! I forgot about him. I LOVED Remington Steele.
ReplyDeleteAnd, thanks @Lurky, I was momentarily shamed because of my use of "floundering." Glad to know I wasn't wrong!
Jared Leto. he was just accused of “sliding” into the DM’s of young models by another actor
ReplyDeleteGood guess Viper! The "long time" might be debatable, but the rest fits.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking him because he was a star on that cult hit show My So-called life a long time ago. He’s allegedly known to make everyone he speaks to sign a NDA, especially the young ones.
DeleteHow could NDAs even be legal with someone underage?
DeleteNot that I don't believe you. I'd love to see Leto to exposed.
@sandybrook & @catsup, my kids go to school with a kid named Remington Steelman and I laugh every time they say his name!
ReplyDeleteI like the Leto guess
ReplyDeleteBruce Willis
ReplyDeleteOoh, Good guess!
DeleteCould be Jared Leto but wouldn't he be described as Academy Award winner/ nominee?
ReplyDeleteAlmost every guess so far has been an Oscar nominee or winner.
DeleteMaybe Enty left that part out.
I vote Clooney
ReplyDelete@Lurky McLurkster
ReplyDeleteThank-you for the correction!
@ Catsup
Many apologies and much groveling to your better word knowledge.
"When’s his tequila company sale going to be investigated? "
For what? A fantasy dreamt up on Qanon and 4chan?
Yeah, the FBI will get right on that.
Is Jared Leto really A list? I remember the name but can't think of a thing he was in.
ReplyDeleteEddie Murphy
ReplyDeletegeorge Clooney
Don't know if this is Travolta or not, but TV made him a huge star to the point where he left "Kotter" after a couple years to focus on movies.
ReplyDeleteTravolta was definitely A list while on Kotter.
ReplyDeleteI like the Bruce Willis guess!
Jared Leto would definitely fit, but he's typically described as actor/musician, so I don't think it's him.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like Travolta...I don't think Freeman was A list on a kids tv show.
ReplyDeleteThis is Denzel. His casting couch story has been a difficult catch to get people who’ll speak up
ReplyDeleteTricia´s husband?
ReplyDeleteHe's not into you Raphael! Give it a rest, you just look desperate 😂
DeleteLot of good guesses here! Wouldn't Travolta be Perm A+ (or higher) on both counts (movie and TV)? also I feel like if it were travolta, COS woudl be somehow hinted at.
ReplyDeleteI like Depp, but I would think he's also still Perm A++ for movies (historical), and A for TV.
Cloony also Perm A++
Bruce Willis sounds like the right fit for A Movie and A TV, but who would sleep with him?
Did anyone throw Will Smith into the mix (He's probably A++ Movie and TV)? Or Martin Lawrence?
It is so frustrating that I can't comment at work. The new job blocks blogger from the firewall. And yes, I should be working. LOL
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Bruce Willis. Was Denzel A List for St. Elsewhere? It's a little bit before my time, but my mom used to get TV Guide in the mail and I don't remember knowing about him.
Jared Leto was not A list when he was on My So Called Life. It aired one season and only a small percentage of people knew who he was. When MTV picked it up and reran it, it gained traction.
Travolta was definitely A list tv and movies. Saturday Night Fever came out while he was still on Welcome Back Kotter. Fits, but people have spoken out against him already.
James Franco (is ~20 years longtime?)
ReplyDeleteFreaks and Geeks was his breakout tv role
He's regarded as an A+ list actor.
hey enty, remember
ReplyDeleteDON HENLEY
DAVID GEFFEN
BRYAN SINGER
DAN SCHNEIDER
LES MOONVES
where have been there downfalls, again? and remember how james franco's blind about the acting school had female students banding together and were gonna come forward in 'the next couple of weeks' to file a lawsuit...wow, wonder where that all went!
maybe because $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ buys silence.
all of the above have barely met their comeuppance. not even barely. makes me sick and the blinds that say the hammer is coming down? I call bullshit until I see it.
this sounds like travolta. all those male masseuses....all the dropped charges by the LAPD....which totally sucks scientology's dick, among others. they have $cio members in the ranks. they also protect pedophiles.
ReplyDeleteDID ANYONE SEE THEY DROPPED ALL THE CHARGES AGAINST TYLER GRISHAM?????? as in, the little boy rapist walks free. bryan singer was paying his legal bills.
enty, will any of these ped0s EVER meet justice? cause blind after blind, and nooooothing happens.
its not jared leto. his 14yearsold and up concert girl fans that he takes up to his hotel room to take advantage of with his bro shannon?
ReplyDeleteyea, they arent old enough to sign an NDA and make it valid.
this is someone with 'legal' victims. ones that can legally sign an NDA. leto loves picking out underage fangirls from his audiences.
sometimes tells me this actually might not be travolta, depp, franco or leto. this is someone who uses NDAs often.
@Rafael, are you that famous stalker of tricia??? wow, we thought you were dead. too bad. I mean, you're dead inside, but that doesnt count, does it?
ReplyDeleteThis is Stephen Hawking
ReplyDeleteI still think that if he truly lived up to his hype he would’ve been agnostic instead...
DeleteOnly the truly intelligent are smart enough to know that they could be wrong.
🤜🏽
DeleteWill Smith
ReplyDeleteTravolta was definitely A list television back in the day from his role on Welcome Back Kotter. It was that star power and visibility that got him put up for Saturday Night Fever.
ReplyDeleteNow George Clooney on the other hand was not as his first big role was during the latter seasons on The Facts of Life when he had a Billy Ray Cyrus mullet. He didn't become A list on television until ER which then lead to his movie roles.
And let's not forget Travolta's star turn in the Friday Night movie "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" where I have to say, my elementary age self thought he was the hottest thing going.
ReplyDeleteLAPD does NOT drop charges. They investigate and then present the findings to the DA or City Atty who decides whether there is enough evidence to file a case. Also, everybody hates the Scientologists and if a member worked for the police or the prosecution (never heard of any) there would be a conflict of interest and they would be barred from doing so by their supervisor.
