Eventually this A list singer is going to forget which excuse is which and everyone is going to know the truth about what happened that night she got hurt.

The source added security issues also contributed to the couple’s decision to begin house hunting for their family.
“They’ve been having a lot of issues with neighbors letting people in the community to look around and it all escalated after the fall,” explained the source.
I'm still confused about the part where she swears he flew in right after. So the story was either he did hit her but I also heard she fell after a drunken rage finding out about him cheating. Which is it!!
I think the lighting at the CMAs was bright enough that the scars were very hard to see, or else she had tons of highlighter in that area. She was wearing a lot of makeup at that event. It looks like most of the damage was to the upper lip and chin. Either she has terrible luck and hit the "stairs" at just the right angle to miss her nose completely, and take the brunt on the upper lip, or she got bopped one in the mouth.
Either way, I'm glad to see people are starting to get tired of her publicity tour for this sob story. Visit some VA hospitals or some burn units and see people dealing with some heavy-duty scarring and gain a little perspective. And stop talking about it to the tabloids, and move on.
Honestly, after she went to such great lengths to hide her face I immediately thought her husband beat her up.. it’s the only thing that makes sense because she mislead the public to believe something crazy happened and she had to have reconstructive surgery to the point she’d look like a different person.
It's entirely possible that she missed a step and fell while taking the dogs out. It happened to me. Front tooth went through my lip. I sprained my ankle and wrist as well.
I've been waiting for this to be brought up. From the beginning this whole story just sounded like nonsense. If you fell and injured your face, are you really that fucking conceited that you're going to "hide" and make random posts about how you're worried you may never look the same, blah blah bullshit?
She said she landed on her face, which apparently hurt her chin and upper lip, there was one article where she said she shipped a tooth but yet her nose is fine? And 40 stitches is a lot of stitches. I had a two inch laceration on my ankle and they gave me 18.
Also, the sudden talk of them wanting to move is ridiculous. They own almost 400 acres of land. How the hell can anyone get near your front door to be a nuisance?
She looks slightly different in the "Cry Pretty" video she just released. Her upper lip shape is a little off, and not in the way of over plumped up lips.
Yeh, she was letting her dogs out to do their biz "wink, wink" when she fell and busted only the bottom part of her face - which happens to be how she makes her living AND chews her cheating hubs ass, and also broke her wrist. Next thing you know he's coming out of retirement, she's hiding her scars and they're moving. It would make MUCH more sense to me if he was supposed to be gone, she came home and found him cheating IN said house and now needs to be as far away from the scene as possible... WHO knows, that's all just speculation but there is no way this trick is uprooting her "perfect" family from their land and house cuz she tripped when she let the dog out. Sorry. I have fallen down our basement steps a couple times - still live there. Fell UP my back steps and smashed my finger in the door - still live there. Fell over my cat and broke a toe - still live there. I can see why a wife would want to remove her and her fam from a house where her hubs nearly wrecked the marriage - but over an innocent fall? Very strange. OR that's a rich peeps problem I'll never be bothered with.
This is Carrie UNderwood. And I hope she doesn't get hurt again. If she's staying bec of that threat, then my hopes aren't that high.

I believe her. I had something similar happen to me when I was taking my dog out for a wizz late at night. The dog got frightened and bolted and startled, I kept hold of the leash, but in doing so got kind of spun around on the step, lost my balance and fell.
because I had a death grip on the leash, I did not put my hands out to break my fall and did a face plant at the bottom of the stairs. I broke 2 teeth and split my lower lip.
in my case tho the worst part was that in my plank like fall my shins hit the bottom step and the bruising and pain were horrendous.
but I can totally see this happening because I totally saw it happen to me.

But do take a note from @Nick Rivers and go visit some amputated veterans, or go over to Afghanistan or India or Pakistan and meet some women and girls who have been the victims of acid attacks.
Celebrities and rich people buy and sell homes and properties all the time because they have the luxury to do so. When they start trotting out reasons and excuses why they’re moving, when they normally wouldn’t, it’s suspicious. Same with her fall.. Announce, “ I got hurt”, and then move on with your life. When they keep talking and talking and tweeting about it, it looks shady.

They put a lot more stitches a lot more finely in your face than they do in your ankle. Not that I believe her stories, but the stitch # is moot.
