  2. Christine's silence over the whole affair is quite telling

  3. They're still alive? I could have sworn I heard that at least one of them died. Talk about Mandela effect.

  4. Very curious to hear more.

  5. Fleetwood Mac is permanent A+ list? WUT??!?

  6. I understand what they were, but is there any reason anyone should give a sh!t about Fleetwood Mac today?

    1. Agreed. These old bands just don't know when to stop.

  7. Rumours alone has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide, which is a hell of a lot more than some currently "A list" acts will ever sell in their entire careers. Fleetwood Mac has sold well over 100 million albums and are still played on many radio stations, and a lot of current artists cite them as as an influence.

So yeah, they are undoubtedly permanent A+ list.

    1. Thank you. They were amazing and more deserving of permanent A+list then the shit that comes from Beyonce or Rihanna.

    2. Absolutely A+ . Are people here really too young to know this? Mygod, some of the "alleged" A+ Enty throws out here then for sure Fleetwood Mac is.

    3. Shouldn't those who think " the old bands need to stop" be doing their homework already?

  8. When did this site get taken over by brain dead millenials? Fleetwood Mac is one of the most successful bands of all time. Rumours alone has sold 40 million copies worldwide, making it the 7th biggest selling album EVER. Stevie Nicks is the friggin' queen of Rock N Roll and a friggin' living legend...that alone qualifies them as permanent A+. You all need to educate yourselves.

  9. Funny how TEH GOOGELEZZZ search of the straightforward term "greatest bands of all time" returns bands that could each arguably be considered "permanent A+ list" but Fleetwood Fucking Mac is waaaaaaaaaaaay down the line, between Deep Fucking Purple and the Ramones.

Here, have a looksee for yourself.

Fleetwood Mac Permanent A+ list, still laughing my ass off...

  10. Someone actually listed Deep Purple as one of the greatest bands of all time? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    ReplyDelete
  11. Rolling Stone listed Eric Clapton at #55, Queen at #52,and #Pink Floyd at 51 on their list of 100 Greatest Artists of all time, Simon and Garfunkel at 40, David Bowie at 39, Lennon at 38. But yeah, let's put stock in internet rankings and random polls instead of album sales and audience demands, lololol.

  12. thank you @dotell and @jon,

As for the name calling, @lttt- its not really acceptable here, and also, wow- way to get bent out of shape over fleetwood mac statistics... a band you purport to not even like! maybe take a moment to reflect on your life choices or something?

  13. Once again, not debating the historical significance. Doesn't matter if they sold a trillion records back in the day. Why should we give a sh!t about Fleetwood Mac CURRENTLY PERFORMING and MAKING MUSIC TODAY?
Is Fleetwood Mac going to start cranking out some hits next week, month, year, or decade? How many of us are going to pay to see them wander the stage THIS YEAR?

    1. ✋ lots of us. I'd see them in a heartbeat, especially with Stevie.

    2. You do realize that a lot of their old music is still used regularly in commercial, TV and movie soundtracks.

  14. Is it cognitive decline or just people defensive about their sacred cows?

  15. Millennials are the ones keeping Fleetwood Mac's AOR legacy afloat while all their original fans start buying tennis balls to cut open and stick on the legs of their walkers. Maybe they're not the mean, lean encapsulation of all the decades-long-gone hormones of other big bands, but as far as pop goes they're still a major touchstone.

Us damn kids have even been giving Michael McDonald and Ian Anderson current work in the last five years; chill out.

This a gossip site, not a "Who's still relevant" site, ltttt, you fucking neckbeard pinhead. They're in the gossip rags right now because they fired their singer/guitarist right on the cusp of a multi-million dollar tour. That's why anyone gives a shit. Go find another site to be a dickhead on?

  17. A better example would be Depeche Mode, they're still making NEW good music, still playing great concerts. Or like Aerosmith, U2 and so many other bands still cranking out hits occasionally.

  18. I'm a millennial and I don't care for Fleetwood Mac's music. I'm a listener of Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, Sam Cooke, The Spinners, Otis Redding, etc. That said, they are deserving of their permanent A list status.

    1. Don't neglect some of the lesser known Girl Groups. I like The Toys and the Cookies.

    2. I like the ones you posted @ noneyabusiness but Fleetwood Mac Rumors album is awesome. And prefer Christine McVie over Stevie.

  19. Fleetwood Mac headlined at two sold out stadiums last summer for Classic East and West and their announced reunion tour was big news in every music news outlet. There have been multiple tribute albums done by current, younger acts. Their music has been covered on shows like Idol and Voice. They are still relevant. Is it a genetic anomaly or mental decline that people refuse to acknowledge this? Younger generations will always get turned on to older music through what their parents expose them to or what is slipped into a TV or movie soundtrack. It isn't about them being a sacred cow, it is simply pointing out a few facts.

  20. Yeah, Fleetwood Mac is definitely permanent A+. Sorry nobody checked to see whether YOU like them first. I personally really don't care for the Stones, but I don't begrudge them their place in history, FFS.

  21. For sure , even before the others you listed

  22. Enty has called Timberlake permanent A list,Fleetwood Mac by that standard is A+. The Rolling Stone list is a bad joke.

  23. Nothing wrong with any of those either, Nonya.

  24. Back to the blind, why is Christine siding with Lindsey B.? She has always sided with Stevie Nicks, even hitting Lindsey after he threw a guitar at her. It is obvious Mick Fleetwood Hates him.

  25. A message for Ittti: go into your basement bathroom, where you live in the basement, and get a bar of soap. If you don't have a bar of soap, go upstairs and ask your mom for a bar of soap.
Then, go back down to your basement abode, and wash your mouth out.

Your words are vile, and prove who you really are.

  26. FFS, I'm not even a fan, but they are most definitely permanently A+...

  27. I'm glad Buckingham got the boot. His caterwauling makes my ears bleed.

  28. @ Brayson. Depressed Mode??? I saw them in the 80's and it was not memorable!! They still have hits?? Your still a sweetie!

  29. Itttt you braindead little cunt, they've sold more than Led Zeppelin and have a bunch more hits than the 2 Zep have. You lose(r)...
