The Breakfast Club. I love ''Don't You Forget About Me'' by Simple Minds to this day,....because after the movie, i had my first 'head session' lol, totally unexpected and wanted, i just went with the flow.
I was such a movie geek. I was going through a Robert Altman phase and probably would say "The Player" was my favorite in 11th/12th grade. Followed by "Nashville".
Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Shining. Worked at our movie theater all through high school. Free movies, popcorn, twizzlers, raisinets and could let my friends in on the sly. The owner made one of the film booths like a private screening room with a two couches and picture window that we could use. Those were the days.
My high school did a screening of "Tommy" my freshman year. Best 25 cents I ever spent. The music was incredible. Looking back, WTF were those school leaders thinking when they did that.
Blue Velvet. I was walking with couple friends in the middle of the night when we spotted VHS tape in the middle of the road. we picked it up, rushed to my house and popped it right in wtf that movie was GREAT and free! I haven't seen it in probably 10+ years but I bet it is still good
Back To The Future, ET, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Footloose, Beverley Hills Cop, (it was the 80's, I was a Teen, Great time for Movies) Still Love All of Them today. So Many more...........
Lifeguard with Sam Elliott. Sam in swimming trunks for nearly the entire movie. Original soundtrack was music by Paul Williams, "Time and Tide" was a fav song. Sam is still the best looking actor ever.
Bring it on, dude where's my car, thirteen, saved, the girl next door, american pie, team America, super troopers, butterfly effect, notebook and never been kissed
