Blind Item #14

This former A+ list mostly movie actress who rarely acts any longer but has enough money to take care of herself and her mostly non working kids forever has several tumors in her lungs but keeps right on chain smoking at least a pack a day.

  1. "Come Guess the Blind"

I'm guessing away, set an open course for the CDAN sea
Cause I've got to be free, free to face gossip that's ahead of me
On board, Enty's the captain, so climb aboard
We'll search for veiled secrets on every star/whore
And we'll try, oh Lord, we'll try to guess the blind

I look to the screen, some clues in the comments spark my memory
    Some happy, some weird
I think of shows and movies and rumors we heard
Tricia is usually right, so the story goes
But Montana, Sandy and Melvin are also gold
But we'll try best that we can to guess the blind

A gathering of regulars appeared above our heads
They sang to us this song of hope, and this is what they said
They said welcome newbies, welcome newbies
Come guess the blind with us now
Come guess the blind, come guess the blind
Come guess the blind with us

  3. Go back to whipits Demi!

  4. Melanie Griffith? "Mostly" non-working could mean 2 out of 3 who don't work. Or Demi. Flip a coin.

  5. Nooooo...please not Demi. Don't put that in the universe.

    Goldie Hawn

  7. Neither Goldie Hawn nor Melanie Griffith is supporting her "mostly non working kids". So my guess is Demi Moore.

  8. Demi came to mind immediately.

  12. Lung cancer isn't funny.

    It's a very painful death.

(My mother in law died from lung cancer.
It was gruesome to have to watch her slowly, slowly die.)

Morphine helped with the pain, but that's all it did.

Im very sorry for that experience, david. Im glad your mother in law is not in pain anymore, and there by default at peace.

this sounds like demi moore. she was in the DM I think smoking while holding her dog, they called her 'unrecognizable' - she didnt look immediately horrific, but thats what Im thinking - its slow...

  14. So sorry for y’all’s losses. I witnessed so much pain, sorrow, loss in my 22+ years as an RN.. My heartfelt condolences go out to all who have been affected in anyway by this hideous disease.
My husband just reached his 5 year survivor status! 🙏🙌💪❤️😊

  16. I as a smoker also have those "tumors" too, but there called nodes. SOME grow into cancer, others do not. CT scans will tell which way they're going. Maybe they're two different things. But, as far as I know, they are not unless she's being treated for cancer.

  17. I bet this is Angie- she did that double mastectomy as a pro active measure against breast cancer, maybe her genetic are predisposed, and smoking will only trigger the worst outcome. Sad.

  18. Not Angie

"Mostly Movie Actress" - Has Jolie ever done TV?

Also not listed as "Academy Award Winner/Nominee".

A couple of months after she got the operation done another study came out that said it does no good. I don't trust any of those studies.

  19. @Brayson87, you win the internet today for that song!

  20. Nor would they list Angie's kids as NON WORKING when they are all minors. This sounds like someone supporting work age kids who just don't work

  21. Pure guess offthe top of my head is Kathleen Turner. She does Stage work too, and I saw her recently and she looked and sounded Really ill.

    2. KT has rheumatoid arthritis and has been on steroids for ages. Her voice is kind of raspy like a heavy smoker so who knows! I hope not, she has been through enough.

  22. My neighbor died from lung cancer. Before she went, she would sit on her back porch o2 in nose, and would smoke up a storm. I asked her ‘hey, why do u still smoke? Shouldn’t u quit?’
Her response was ‘If I’m already dying why stop now?!’
I can kinda understand that mentality now that I’m in my 40’s and a smoker too. We are all glutten for punishment I think.

  23. it doesn't shock me. My dad has lung cancer and quit chemo awhile ago. What didn't he quit? Smoking.

@Eowyn How do you know this ? What does Kate Hudson do for 'work'?

    I still say it's Goldie

  25. Smoking a pack a day isn't 'chain-smoking.' If you're awake 16 hours a day, that's only slightly more than a cigarette an hour.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Don't smoke. Do whatever it takes to quit for good. You can, it is done all the time. No, it's not easy. But it's worth it.

"I'm not dying from cancer. I'm dying from smoking." - George Harrison

Don't you wish George was still around?

Your will is the second strongest force in the universe. Set you mind and then follow through.
    You can do it.
