Guess this is about LeBron skipping the USA mini camp
http://www.sportingnews.com/nba/news/lebron-james-to-skip-team-usa-minicamp-gregg-popovich-lakers-summer-league-tokyo-2020/7wcnfnnerhb91emnnzd15afln
Swimming.
There’s a pretty long list.
Is this about the Jamaican bobsled team again? I knew Betty White was going to lure them done the wrong path...
@J F-- I choked on my Takis and Pepsi reading that.
That Betty White-- she's a shady broad.
I’m going with gymnastics- McKayla Maroney for the Alliterate.
Steph Curry skipped the Team camp as well. Not sure about the Opioid addiction reference though. Do they take them ..yes. Addicted? No. You can't play basketball on opioids. You need 2-3 days off of them before your head is right. May be another sport.
Ali Raisman.
If they no longer want to participate IN THE SPORT it's not an NBA player and the sport isn't basketball. It's probably swimming or cycling or gymnastics.
The way the blind reads (to me, at least) it is a team sport....which would leave out swimming, track, gymnastics, etc.
If basketball is out, then what's left? Soccer, volleyball, beach volleyball, water polo, team handball, baseball, field hockey, rugby, sailing, rowing, etc.
Lochte
Lots of injuries in gymnastics and they had that criminal team doctor who probably gave them bad shit and they got hooked. I think whoever guessed that sport probably has it right. There was recently some pictures on the DM I believe of one of the Olympic gymnastics with her boyfriend on vacation somewhere with tons of fake, posed pictures and the whole thing seemed so odd to me. It said she had gained weight but I dunno, I thought she looked alright. I just don't know why I should care about this gymnast on a vacation.
It is skiing. I know of one Olympic skier who is on permanent disability and had suffered over a hundred injuries from the training and competition in Winter Olympics - late 90s till early 00’s.
Opioids were prescribed like candy, and they would compete with broken bones.
Lebron is skipping summer camp because he has a broken hand and he has a new team to manage.
This is gymnastics, but I think the reason a lot of them are not returning has more to do with them being in litigation with the USA Gymnastics Association than supposed drug addictions. I will be surprised if USA Gymnastics ever recovers from the Nassar case.
@Neil - actually gymnastics and swimming is both individual and team, actually so is track and field if you figure in relay races. Not that I really care about anything Olympics related. Just didn't want that to throw anyone off.
Bowling.
I'm going with Curling. All sorts of things can happen when there is a broom involved!
Maybe it means the team - the Fierce 5 or whatever they called themselves. Makayla being the first one and the alliterate one. Maybe Aly Raisman being the one who is in the news the most?
Or possibly the ones from the last olympics - the final 5. Simone Biles is in the news a lot I feel like, so is Laurie Martinez. I saw Laurie had gained some weight (doesn't look bad), so probably hasn't been training. She is the youngest one I think.
Aside from women's beach volleyball, it's really tough to give a sh!t about the summer olympics. Although the Olympic Village is awesome.
I'm sure someone as athletic as you has been in an Olympic village right pal? If you haven't been in one, STFU and stop wasting our time jackass.
@Ragmar
The carpal tunnel alone leads straight to oxy madness!
@Brayson
Shut your whore mouth! The Olympics rock, all of it. I'll watch a thousand North Korean cheerleaders for hours just for some speed skating action.
So speed skating is Summer Olympics now huh plot?
No! But all the Olympics rock, even the NK cheerleaders and the weird speed skating events (and they are really weird.)
Locate?
