Today's Blind Items - Fan Protection
Every performer wants fans. Fans want to love the performers they admire. What happens though if the performer starts sexually assaulting some of their underage fans? If you are this Rob Zombie looking A- list DJ, you get your other fans to cover for you. He also gets them to shame the fans if they try and speak up. He silences them with threats and intimidation and since Datsik was busted for the same thing, has started trying to force these minors to sign NDA's. If that doesn't work, he has been known to let his fans know who they should target. A full on pile on effect on the victim's social media usually gets them to change their mind. It is only a matter of time before his hardball tactics are going to lead to the suicide of one of his victims.
post malone or 6ix9ine?
ReplyDeleteSteve Aoki?
ReplyDeleteFirst person I thought of. Please don't let it be him.
DeleteSkrillex
ReplyDeleteLooking thru images of djs--this guy called Bassnectar looks like Rob Zombie
ReplyDeleteBassnectar
ReplyDeleteBassnectar was my pick too. Steve Aoki and Skrillex aren't really that crazy or Rob Zombie-esque. Most EDM djs are pretty clean cut so it's not a huge pool to pick from. Aphex Twin was really out there but looks wise, not close enough to Rob Zombie or even his brother.
ReplyDeleteAn NDA signed by a minor? Yeah - sounds legit. No way that would be thrown out by a court....
ReplyDeleteHow is NDA signed by a minor even enforceable?
ReplyDeleteI hope it isnt Bassnectar, but the hair fits..
ReplyDeleteEven though an NDA signed by a minor is generally easy to void, it can still be used as leverage by the criminal - like to sully the minor's reputation or that of the guardian/s, or used in accordance with other life choices to discredit the accusation. You shouldn't be surprised anymore by how these people "get away with it" - lawyers are very intimidating and cunning, and unfortunately they will do anything to protect their client and, ultimately, line their own pockets.
ReplyDeleteTruly horrible.
ReplyDelete30 years ago this scumbag would have gotten a beatdown to within and inch of his life from a father, brother, uncle, friend, heck maybe even the girls youth pastor etc. and no one would have even bothered to anything about it.
Yeah, that is my old man rant for the day. Now stay off my lawn!
It's bassnectar, there was some reddit thread years ago where people wrote that he likes date raping underage girls and his fans are the worst
ReplyDeleteBassnectar. Where I grew up they'd call that a fishing lure.
ReplyDeleteBassnectar looks the most like Rob Zombie out of the big djs. Avicii is dead but this guy walks, at least balance the scales.
ReplyDeleteIdk I immediately thought Steve Aoki but I also know a girl from college who fucked him after one of his concerts and she was only 18 or 19 so that’s pretty suspect
ReplyDeleteAnother reason why girls/women are often scared to come forward.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bag of dicks.
Sounds like Bassnectar based on looks and awfulness. Skrillex would never and Aoki doesn’t fit either.
ReplyDeleteHmm...Justin Theroux as the evil DJ in Zoolander?
ReplyDelete@Squee
ReplyDelete" unfortunately they will do anything to protect their client"
Unfortunately???? You would sing a different tune if you were ever charged with a crime. It's a lawyer's job to protect and defend their client. So you wouldn't mind if your lawyer chose not to do his/her job because they personally find you morally repugnant? How about a doctor not performing surgery correctly on you because he/she finds you objectionable?
That's the kind of world you want to live in I take it.
@Neal
"30 years ago this scumbag would have gotten a beatdown to within and inch of his life from a father, brother, uncle, friend"
Utter bullshit! 30 years ago nobody did anything other than tell victims to shut up and not rock the boat of society with Big Men on top.
Fathers, brothers and friends didn't beat down anyone (oh wait, unless he was a minority, that's right.) They very rarely believed the victims of rape or sexual abuse, even from inside their own families. Men identified more strongly with the rapist and abuser. "Mind your own business" was the maxim of the day even if loved one's were injured.
I was there dude. Let's not play pretend games here.
Hey Plot - how's that white knighting working out for you? You're still never gonna get laid, but it's entertaining as hell to the rest of us watching you pathetically try.
ReplyDelete@Plot Maybe not where you're from, but when you're not in a big city you'll find brothers & fathers get pretty riled up when some showboat comes & rapes their daughters.
