Blind Item #1
This one named new release for the weekend already sucks, so the efforts of a group of people to discredit it, is probably not necessary. That being said, they are being encouraged in their course of action by this former A+ list singer turned A- list singer/actress.

DeleteVenom going up against a star is born
ReplyDeleteVenom
ReplyDeleteMovie getting killed in reviews.
yeah there were articles yesterday talking about "Gaga fans declaring war on venom" and posting fake reviews & creating fake media accounts just to leave it bad reviews. Classy.
ReplyDeleteAlso heard Shallow on the radio & it was horrible. Can we have old Gaga that made catchy music that we still joke about to this day back?
Shallow is for the movie, a song her character sings. it’s not a Lady Gaga song...
DeleteThat’s what Gaga fans always do. Attack everyone who is in competition with her. Gaga hires trolls to do it for her too. And her music does not age well. It’s trash. She was always overrated. Rah rah oh ma ma. Lol so corny. Terrible music. And A Star is Born is beyond overrated.
DeleteI guess enty is upset That a star is born isn't a huge disaster, all the opportunities to bash Gaga gone, so he has to make other rubbish up.
ReplyDeleteObviously Russian bots!😏😏😏😏😎
ReplyDeleteHow desperate, disingenuous and lowly. True to form for GagMe.
ReplyDelete@Unknown - exactly. It's a classic song & she has a great voice so it had everything stacked in its favor!!
ReplyDeleteahh I went back and read my comment & see where my wording is confusing. This is what I get for multi tasking - or maybe Enty's grammar is infectious.
ReplyDeleteI meant Gaga's voice was well suited to catchy tunes like Just Dance & Bad Romance but it didn't translate well to softer music (I thought johanna was a boring listen as well) & it didn't do justice to Shallow so she should go back to sticking with catchy tunes...
Now I should go hunt for a cup of coffee
Tom Hardy's greatest role was Shinzon.
ReplyDeleteIt's all been down hill from there.
Venom looks sooo bad. I want to know who thought a movie about some lizard would work. Is it DC or Marvel? To lazy even to look it up.
ReplyDeleteThe CGI in the Venom previews looks awful
ReplyDeleteWay to go cheap on that
She peaked with the "Telephone" video.
ReplyDeleteCant blame Gaga that Venom isnt going over well lol. Havent seen it yet, but from what I hear from people who arent even in her crowd, it just wasnt great.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Venom and Star are competing for the same audience member types in the first weekend
ReplyDeleteVenom without Spider Man is like Joker without Batman. Just not enough interest for the finished product. Anyways the silver lining is that now Venom goes to MCU finally!
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about Venom except that it's a comic book character. Is this another failure they'll blame on toxic manchildren and Russian troll farms?
ReplyDeleteOnly now finished another review of ASIB that was fairly critical of the movie overall, Cooper's direction being poorly thought out, but did it ever praise Gaga. This isn't a reviewer who can be bought, btw, at least I don't think so.
ReplyDelete@LEANNE
Yep and yep. Enty called this film badly. Oh how he wanted it to fail!
i'd understand if the movies were similar but they are night and day to each other. is she worried she won't get the comic book demograph?? i hate all those 'character development / oscar nod' performance movies so won't go see A Star is Born, and i like GaGa - i would actually rather see Venom.
ReplyDeleteIs there a rule that you have to choose only one?
ReplyDeleteThis is probably one of the stupid things I have ever seen.
"Lady Gaga fans are creating fake social media reviews for #Venom to divert attention to #AStarIsBorn https://bit.ly/2P6xjQj"
ReplyDeleteYou need Spidey to have Venom. Shame no one (except three people) listened.
Sorry, forgot to put that the quote is from Variety.
ReplyDeleteVenom got bad reviews when it was previewed months ago, this is no surprise.
ReplyDeleteThank fuck I'm not watching either of these movies.
ReplyDeleteEven my 14 y.o. son doesn't want to see "Venom." That movie is dead after opening weekend.
