Blind Item #3

One of the reasons these usually barely dressed models are unhappy about the reality star joining in is because the reality star is known for really hitting on them hard to the point where they wonder if they have to give in to keep their gig.

  1. Is Victoria’s Secret still all that relevant though?

The last time I was anywhere near one, what they had for sale was rather poorly made, over-priced & underwhelming (plus mall traffic is already close to non-existent where I live).

Seems like if you want good lingerie & undergarments & clothes in general you have way more options than VS. Their heyday was the 1980s & 1990s, it is long since past now.

    1. Yes, Volt. There undergarments are poorly made and cheap. We used to order clothes from their catalog and some were really cute. Chantecaill is best for bras.

  2. Agree that quality of VS has gone down dramatically in the past few years. Their products used to be so sexy and sensual and high class gossamer intimate wear. Now they're far more cheaply made and rather slutty. It used to be form-flattering "Wouldn't you like to see more"? Now it's "Rip it off and do me, baby!"

  3. VS has been shit for at least a decade. Poor quality.

I think this is another bullshit blind.

    1. They went out of business at the malls. Shout out to wonder bra. It USED to be great but now..blah!

  5. There is nothing good about VS anymore. They used to have some great shoes on the website, but those are even gone. I get my regular stuff at Macy's and for the fancy schmancy only once in a while stuff, I go to La Perla. It's not that much more expensive than heyday VS, and the quality is so much higher.

  7. If I were one of the VS models, I'd get the other model to do an "en masse" exit and just leave the reality models to do it since it's all a big joke anyway and hopefully will be cancelled completely.

No one really watches it anyway, except "johns"...I mean, we all know VS show is just a veneer for prostitution, oops, I mean "yachting." =/

  8. correction:

***models (not model) in first sentence

  9. Well Glue, if that is the case then they need it as an annual touchstone for the yachting community.

  11. I think where VS messed up was when they launched PINK. It is a very successful brand, but in many locations it’s part of the VS store. That’s where the confusion lies: how do you have 2 brands meant for 2 totally different demographics in the same store? VS used to be consistently on brand with good quality & reasonable price points. I used to shop there frequently, but now I don’t. You have to walk thru all this cute dorm stuff, (not to mention the beauty section) to finally get to the VS section which is outright boring and cheap looking but with the same price points as before. They should’ve just spun off PINK into a separate store, and kept VS at the level it used to be. The fashion show really has nothing to do with the actual product line anymore. It’s strictly for entertainment purposes.

What I don’t understand about this blind is why other models feel as though they have to give into Kendall to keep their gig?

  12. @ Hunter. True. Good point.

  13. Speaking of models, I haven’t seen anything on CDAN since Karlie’s wedding—unless I missed something.

  14. cont...but does it need to be broadcast on prime time tv anymore, is the next question. They can live stream it for their "clients," right? [=

  15. I will not set foot in VS anymore. PINK is creepy. I'll be damned if I'm allowing my daughter to walk around with that double-entende written across her butt. And there are way too many men in that store - I don't want Bubba watching me shop for bras. Bubba rarely sets foot in the Dillard's lingerie department - too many granny panties to interest him.

  16. @ClareJanes:
The best brands are Natori, Chantelle and Wacoal are great brands and can be found at most department stores. Nordstrom offers free fittings, highly recommend!

    1. All my undergarments are Wacoal because I’m too lazy to try anything new, never tried sexy underwear brands before.

I just bought my first push-up bra for online dating but they really hurt. I’m not sure if they’re supposed to feel that way—armour rock hard like a chastity belt for your boobs. I’m pretty siren I bought the right size? 🤷🏻‍♀️

VS supports the prison-industrial complex. All those bras and panties are made by slave labor.

  18. Hunter nailed it. We've seen previous blinds about how the VS Fashion Show is like a yachter exhibition, and how it's open season in the cities they're held, those models' dance/f*ck cards are filled by businessmen for days around the event.
As far the models worrying about having to hook up with Kendall, I'm sure their main concern is that they won't be financially compensated.

  19. Soma is good bras. VS is very popular with younger people. All my daughters teen friends wear VS or Pink. And we have 4 stores within 10 miles of me so not all are gone. I do own some of their bras and they are fine. I also like Soma.

  20. Love la Perla.

This jenner becoming authoritarian, uh, she should come out, they are still a brand and will keep making millions.
Still Ll their relationships are peculiar except Kim.

  21. I'm constantly hearing that malls are dying. That has GOT to be a U.S. thing. I live in Edmonton and we have easily a dozen malls, all of which are busy most of the time.

  22. I had no idea that Kendall have the power to fire any VS model! a lot of vsgirls "yacht" with wrinkly old men so it's probably an upgrade to sleep with Kendall, she has a nice body

  25. Kendall is a nobody in modelling and as others have stated VS is going the way of Kodak. The Kardashians/Jenners are not even famous in LA; ran into them at a sushi place in Studio City and they were waiting in line like everyone else.

Georgia Fowler seems to be the most famous who openly escorts.

    1. That doesn’t mean they’re “not even famous in LA”, it just means nobody respects them enough to give them special treatment at the sushi place.

Which according to my schadenfreude-meter is even worse than not being famous.

  27. For those saying VS quality is shabby, just know that is because their products are made in Women's Prisons where the inmates make between .14 and .25 cents an hour to make them. Well, the ones that aren't shipped in from overseas where they cut the "Made in X" tags and sew in "Made in America" ones.

    ReplyDelete
  28. @scandi - I grant you full naming rights. But after it's successful, you'll have to use your new mogul status to muscle us on to the UK version of 90-day-fiancee; I've always wanted to be a very annoying proper monocled Englishman. Cheerio and all that.
