NKOTB?
Someone from Stillwater.
Daughtry?
(Chris Daughtry?)
Chainsmokers?
I’m reading this as Chris Martin for some reason although I thought he was pretty sober but who knows. Cold play
Dave Matthews Band?
Jackson Maine?
Someone from the Eagles
Maybe Rob Thomas/Matchbox 20/“Twenty”?
I know he used to be a big drinker but got and has been sober a long time (hence the weight loss years ago)
Chad Kroeger and Chris Martin both make sense but are foreign born...
Could be Patrick Stump? Fallout Boy instead of Fall Out Boy.
Actually it says musician/songwriter, not singer/songwriter. So that would lead me more to Pete Wentz. Who is definitely more A list than Stump, and primarily the bass player not singer.
Someone from Radiohead?
IDK but:
"band that really should be two words "
Couple good guesses here--Radio/head, Still/water, Nickel/back, and so on. But not Dave Matthews, Pete Wentz, Eagles. I mean, come on gang!
Chris Martin or Tom York
who the hell is stillwater? lol
Whatever. I read it as they are called Eagles instead of The Eagles.
It's not the same band (they got legal rights to use the name though) but tell me you've at least seen Almost Famous!!
Also breaking news: rockstar doesn't live clean cut lifestyle.
never seen it lol
Videographic evidence: https://youtu.be/e9IRabVcLDY 🤷🏻♀️
@Donna
Eagles (s/b The Eagles) and Fall Out Boy (s/b Fallout Boy) both can be made to work here.
Actually,Pete Wentz is a good guess,as @pkelly491, fallout instead of fall out ( which they use).
Here's a really easy way to narrow it down:
Who "has had a string of hits for over a decade?" Probably not an old classic band.
OneRepublic? Singer Ryan Tedder has written a lot of songs for other people (Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, Carrie Underwood, etc.) and their first album came out in 2007. Never heard of him being a mess tho.
Actually, yea this makes sense being Tedder
Coldplay? Chris Martin?
I like the Wentz guess, he was married to Asslee Simpson at one time after all.
Fallout is almost always written as one word, though.
Jimmy Osmond?
I have a very faint hope it could be that colossal ringpiece Bono, and the two words that U2 should actually be called are 'We Suck'.
Ahaha ha I was thinking this!
Radiohead named themselves after the Talking Heads song, "Radio Head", so the argument can indeed be made that their name "should be" two words.
I don't think this is about anyone in Radiohead though.
*standing ovation*
Wait is Stillwater a real band? I thought this was joke guess - the band from Almost Famous.
@hothotheat they were a real band during the 70s/early 80s! I think Almost Famous is way more famous than them though...which is very ironic hahaha
Bradley Cooper from a Star Is Born???? Just kidding but this totally reminds me of a couple key scenes.
Fartbarf
Its not Radiohead. They are not an excessive band and they wouldnt be regarded as really having "hits" Coldplay is a good guess. More mainstream than Radiohead,,,,sadly
Anyone know why Kid Rock ditched a concert at the very last second and hop on a helicopter?
@Boo, Because Kid Rock is a freakin' super secret agent! ;)
Greenday?
U2 = You Too. Bono?
Brayson: I shoudda known that! Dayum! Thanx!
U2 is from the name of the German submarines I always thought.
Kid Rock, maybe heart problems from excessive cocaine use over the years. I have seen him so bloated his head looks like it is going to pop of his body and fly across the room. Either that or he is just fat. I like Kid Rock, sort of a guilty pleasure but he has never hid his drug of choice.
Let's really, really go out there.
Gene/Sis, Phil Collins.
Coldplay
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
