Jenny McCarthy
She's an Anti-Vaxer. I have LOTS of opinions on this one personally, but as she has an autistic child andI have not walked a mile in her shoes, I'll remain mum.
ReplyDeleteWhat could modern medicine possibly offer in argument against the wisdom of a former bimbo? #whorelogic
ReplyDeleteCould have sworn she said her autistic child was cured a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteAre vaccines 100% safe or reliable, f*ck no. Are they 100% better than children getting preventable deadly diseases, yes.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree
DeleteGood. Too many idiots raising kids.
ReplyDeleteAnd if Viking Song has her way, sleeping with those same kids the minute the kids reach 18.
Do vaccines slowly. Not all at once. Space them out over longer periods of time. My daughter has done this w/her babies w/no problems. Dr's have no objection to doing this either.
ReplyDelete+1000000 @roxanne. By the way, those of you who criticize JMC you need to visit a school with the Severely Autistic kids. You will not believe it and be more emphatic. Polio and all the other vaccines ok but that MMR shot.. should be done at three
DeleteI get how life saving vaccines are and am all for some vaccines. I do not agree with the excessive amounts of boosters that are given now. I spaced my daughters vaccines out as well. The dr would order 5 or more at a time and I’d be like no way. Half. If she had any type cold, sniffle, watery eye, or just getting over an illness I would reschedule.
DeleteVaccines are like Democracy, not even close to 100% fulproof, but much better than any other options!
ReplyDeleteI will never forget when Jenny was on Larry King with 3 doctors and one held up a poster and said OK which vaccine would you like taken out. She looks at it and points to one and says we don't need that one all confident and smug. He looked at it and said, great, you just let measles back into the world. She was stunned and frozen. It was a great TV moment.
ReplyDeleteShe isn't a Dr. she thinks she cured her own child and now is an expert. But if your dumb enough to follow her advice you get what you get.
I am still shocked that so many people listened to Jenny McCarthy and her anti-vax "information" seriously.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely ridiculous.
Yes, is there a chance a vaccine could hurt my child? Sure. Would I risk it to ensure my kid doesn't get polio/measles/mumps? Abso-freaking-lutely.
Parents are stupid to allow their kids to be vaccinated with multiple vaccines within a few weeks. Space it out like it war done before. Stop being sheep.
ReplyDeleteHi UniversalEnergy
ReplyDeleteCan you share a study which estimates the optimal frequency for vaccinating, and the risks of going with a different schedule?
Or are you just sharing a gut feeling?
If you take advice from Jenny McCarthy, you should lose custody of you kids based on that alone.
ReplyDeleteLots of moms have said the same thing over the years and she is not the first one.@styles.

ReplyDeleteNo one intelligent would listen to a celebrity when they give their asinine advice on politics, life, or anything for that matter. Why the hell would someone take advice on one regarding the health of your children?!
ReplyDeleteCelebrities are meat puppets. I've worked with plenty and really, I don't think there's any other field where so many imbeciles could be successful. Seriously - the minute you have your first conversation with a celeb, you'll never listen to anything they have to say ever again. There's a reason they made a career out of reading other people's words and doing what other people tell them to do.
Anti vaxing nutcases. Vaccines don't cause autism.
ReplyDeleteOr, This may be about the mother who lost custody of her son because she ended his chemotherapy treatments.
Chemotherapy is an option, not a legal requirement. I cannot believe this is happening in a so called 'free' and developed nation.
