Blind Items Revealed #1

January 7, 2019

Golden Globes

A network and a streaming operation were the biggest spenders last night. Usually, they only spend enough to get the nomination, but they both wanted wins as well. A studio thought they didn't spend enough, but apparently they did. This is the only place you can buy what you want. You can also f**k some people to get what you want, but that never works past the nominations. Oh, and next time, when you decide one of the winners, maybe you can avoid suspicion by not also inviting someone to come as a presenter too.

FOX/FX--/Netflix--/Sony/Catherine Zeta Jones

  1. Maybe the fact that they had "Golden" in the name should have been a clue that everything is for sale.

  5. All these award shows are a pat on the back to each other..

  6. If Sony paid for Green Book to win does that mean Bohemian Rhapsody’s win was legit and not paid for? If so, fuck the HFPA. shameless. Might as well suck BryanSinger’s dick

FX has Sunny, the best comedy on TV. Does it even get nominated? I know Hell will freeze over before it gets an Emmy nomination, but I would think the GG's would be more open minded.

Hasn't it always been common knowledge that the Golden Globes went to the highest bidder? I thought that came out decades ago with poor Pia Zadora and the backlash she took for her undeserved win?

  9. I think I will die before I see Bryan Singer brought to justice. It makes me sick. Fox makes me sick. Rami Malek and his fake schtick makes me sick. Though I’m delighting in how Malek is frustrated he isn’t getting more offers despite his mediocre performance getting noms. GOOD. Karma.

  15. I think Enty made a mistake by typing Sony. If green book isn’t Sony’s then Sony paid for nothing to win. But fox makes sense because Bohemian Rhapsody won best picture drama when everybody thought it wouldn’t because there was more worthy competition. That’s the only way at least I can make sense of this blind.

Also, Netflix —> The Kominsky Method’s win —> Michael Douglas (star of it) wins —> his wife CZJ a presenter

  16. I stopped watching award shows years ago after figuring out/learning that they're bought and paid for. I watch the Oscars for the outfits.

I love movies and like what I like and that's it. I could care less about any awards since its all fake.

  17. Her hus band won Best Ac tor in A Come dy Series (from Netf lix)

  18. so that means CZJ f**ked somebody to get him the award?

  19. He's saying that it was no coincidence that Catherine Zeta Jones just happened to be a presenter on the night her husband won, that they already knew he was going to win.

  20. Catherine Zeta Jones father in law is a child rapist

    her husband was recently exposed

  21. "You can also f**k some people to get what you want" does not refer to CZJ "helping" her hubby win, then? Just thrown in by Enty for clicks?
Of course, it could all be bs....
