On the way to an award show last night, this former singer turned television actress was rude to her driver and refused to call him by his name. She just kept saying driver.

What, it's difficult enough remembering everyone's name and now you have to add your one night driver's name to your f*cking mental rolodex? Although calling him driver was a little low class, hasn't she mastered the art of conversation without using names?
sounds like the driver gave her his name several times, and she was just being rude.
Hard to draw any conclusions when it doesn't say whether he ever mentioned his name, much less more than once. Unless there is another article about it that I am not interested enough to go look for.
I always saw sir or ma'am---if that's not good enough, then I'm sorry sir..
I don't know his name either. Does that make me rude too?
To be fair, I am pretty rude as a rule, you dicks.
"refused to call him by his name" makes it sound like she was told the name more than once. That's just the way I interpreted it.
I mean its obvious that it was written because it was rude, or else it wouldn't be a blind right?
I guess. He could have told her once and she forgot it/was drunk/was preoccupied.
Maybe she thought he was Adam Driver? :)
I forget the uber drives name the second I get in it so its fine lol
A lot of people refer to me as a Realtor.
Fortunately, I am NOT a Realtor.
However, I am a Real Estate Broker!
=)
Always say thank you or your welcome. I forget peoples name easily and just say sir, miss, maam or young man. Ots easy.
F*ck yeah David! :) Next time they say realtor you say, "It's Broker, and I'll break your a$$ if you don't sign the damn papers! Oh and isn't the crown molding wonderful, they really went the extra step."
@Brayson87, LO!
Thanks for the laugh!
I needed a good distraction from today's (stressful) real estate proceedings.
BTW: I don't sell houses.
Most of my buyers/sellers care less about crown molding or any designer cuteness with a property.
They want to know cash flow.
I really don't have a problem with this, unless it was just blatantly rude. I'm sure he gets called driver a lot if that's his job.
This is the third time I have heard about her rudeness! Not surprised and not a fan
I’ll broker this one! Howes Brayson78sounds like a fun business team!
I would have called her by her profession- bad actress and shit singer.
Mandy Moore: "Driver!"
Driver "Yachter!"
So? The person who runs this site is an idiot.
So that's the gossip the limousine driver phoned in? That's the best he had? Pretty lame, IMO.
So she's a Karen Walker wannabe.
"Oh honey, I don't read. I'm read to." Was just about to post "Very Karen Walker of her" but @Aoife is right - Karen Walker wannabe. Karen was in on her own jokes.
She's one of those bitches who knows she's washed up but doesn't want to admit it. She's angry at her life. Lyft customers who do this to me are real assholes. They're the only ones in the car, so they don't need to call you anything. They can just talk to you.
To call someone driver after being told the name several times is rude. They should remember they're the ones without a car.
Lol! That's a good idea!
Should have kicked her hateful butt out and forced her to walk.
I hate talkative drivers; maybe they wouldn't shut up and wouldn't take the hint, and needed to be reminded they were in a professional situation.
“Unless there is another article about it that I am not interested enough to go look for.” LMMFAO!!!
And now all I can think about is the episode of Modern Family with the argument over the pronunciation of the word “realtor.” 😂
OK these people are too much, you act or sing or both whatever, you are not the Messiah, you are not deserving of constant admiration. Where do these people get off?
@J Smith BWAHAHAHAHA!!!
Uber driver: How was your flight?
Me: The plane safely took off and landed, it was a good flight.
Isn't that what you usually call your driver? That's what they do in the movies. Was this a limo? Taxi drivers usually don't give you their name. But it's posted in the taxi as it's the law that their ID is visible.
The more she ends up in these blinds, the more I get the feeling she is an outright shithead. Has her fiance dumped her yet?
So, how much did Mandy pay for this (Cough) Blind?
1.reveal came too quickly.
2.boring, meaningless non-story.
