Or Stevie Nicks/Lindsey Buckingam?
Madonna and Gage
Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters??
Or Mick Fleetwood?
My friend just saw FM the other night but it was on the East coast
Maybe Don Henley and Don Felder?
Probably not the Eagles Henley may be in New Zealand.
Hell freezes over was the 1994 live album The Eagles did
Hell freezes over made me think of Henley/Eagles but not sure most know Don Felder for all he did /was etc
Diana Ross fits the legend and group part but not for fellow group member??
Lindsay just had open heart surgery, hard to imagine hes up and around for parties.
I dont know who this is, but i like it!!
Simon and Garfunkel.
Lars Ulrich and Dave Mustaine, just for the hell of it (Dave was an early member of Metallica, formed Megadeth out of spite, threatened to kick Ulrich's ass for decades after)
Diana Ross and Mary Wilson were photographed together. Mary wrote her autobiography and was less than glowing of Ms Ross and her antics. It's been decades.
This is probably the Eagles, but it wasn't Henley that was the dick to Felder but Glen Frey. Watch the biopic on the band and there is hot mic captured that has Frey threatening to kick Felder's ass during a concert after Henley made a disparaging comment about some California politician the Eagles were supporting.
Lucky-- lol! Lars is a little guy with a big mouth, and the way you explained it all cracked me up!😀
Poptrinkets-- I'd like this to be true! Given the anniversary at Grammys that wound up being Diana only, it's nice to think they finally cracked the ice.
Madonna and gaga made up, tho i dont trust that one!
Can’t be GaGA and Madonna. When were they ever in a band together?
Don Henley said when The Eagles broke up it wouldn't be until "hell freezes over" that the band got back together, def Henley and Felder
OMG I HOPE THIS IS IT
Glenn Frey got caught by several gals wooing them with a song he wrote just for them. He just interchanged names in the song, if he could remember them.
Busted
Madonna and Gaga were not in a band together and sorry, Gags (typo, it stays, lol) is not a "Legend".
I immediately thought of Roger Waters and David Gilmore, just like @Sandybrook. If they were there. Pink Floyd is one of my fave bands. Last time they performed together was the last Live Aid and that was around 15 minutes of being on the same stage. They're bitter the house with each other.
I HOPE it's them because then they could reform and let the past be the past.
The Eagles commodified their own personal hell's freezing with a tour a long time ago. If this is not them then the metaphor does not land.
I like the Diane Ross/Mary Wilson guess but I think this has to do with the people who made an album that had hell freezing over in its title.
Diana “ Diane” Ross and Mary Wilson of the Supremes.
Very bad relationship, didn’t speak to one another for years.
Mary’s book did not present Diana in the best light but they had a falling out long before that.
Diana was blamed for the demise of the Supremes. She had secret affair with Berry Gordon , became lead singer despite not having the best or even 2nd best voice.
Glad to see them getting along now. They share memories and a great musical history. They should be able to have a good time together.
gaga = madonna 2.0
I bet Madonna and Gaga do something together one of these days. A duet? A movie?
It's not really a blind item, it was reported by the press.

+1 Lucky for Lars Ulrich and Dave Mustaine, but I'm guessing the mainstream doesn't see them as "two A++ list legends who once performed together in an A++ list group" so probably someone else.
I can't imagine anyone referring to Mary Wilson as A++ list. Apart from the Supremes she was nothing.
I think the "Hell Freezes Over" line is in reference to the eagles, though I don't think anyone in the Eagles qualifies as perm A++ outside the US, up here in Canada Don Henly would be the only one to come close to A+ whereas anyone involved in Pink Floyd would be A++ worldwide.
Omg people, why would Pink Floyd be at the Oscars?
It would be nice if it were Eddie VH and Sammy H
You mean Eddie VH and Diamond Dave...
Just for the record, my brain went tangential on people getting along, I DO know that Madonna and Gaga were never in a band together!
Happy it was Diana and Mary!
